Ive just have been thinking about the 15.00 dollar albums again. I was hoping they do the Black Friday Sale again. You made me want ti go back to Walmart and check. Thanks for the shout out. Enjoyed the video as always.
My "local" Walmarts (20 -30 miles away, in 3 different directions) haven't carried music in years. No vinyl or CDs. Have a good selection of 33s in a mom & pop music store in the town I work in. High $ though.
WOW no Walmart vinyl! I go to 2 usually that's 15 and 20 miles away. Another I go to a couple times a year is easily twice as big as the other two put together and they carried vinyl for only one year.

Tull - Isle of Wight 1970 orange vinyl, videos from it are on YT. The Tull and Dick Dale were gifts from the one and only Stoner. That's cool you got to see that Van Halen concert.

I remember when I had my record store. At that time the cost from my wholesaler to me was about $3 from list. They were makin big money then. To see a $25 price and then a $5 mark down is still pretty disgusting. Ah commerce. I’ll be on the lookout for that Airplane lp. There’s usually one floating around out here. 🖖🚀

I like the sound of that Earth Opera. The music is right in my wheelhouse. I agree with you his vocals are weak. But I’m liking the music. Amboy Dukes with Uncle Ted hell ya 🍻🎸🎸. I’ve seen Ted several times. He never disappoints especially back in his earlier days. What a guitarist and showman. Diver Down. Hell ya! That tour was my first concert. I was 13 years old. My best friend’s mom dropped us off and came and picked us up after show. She had no idea what it was about. Let me tell you. Two 13 year old boys at that show was an eye opener 😂😂. When those girls in the crowd took their shirts and bras off and threw them on stage life was never the same lol 😂😂😂 Good Times

Even their worse was better than most put out. Well except Savoy Brown. Never saw that Amboy Dukes double album before. The Bowie surprised me. Learn sumthin bout you all the time. Another cool Cookin' With The Goat segment. Aint had corn bread in years.
Don, I could be wrong, but when records look good but play horrible. They might have cleaned with lighter fluid. An old trick to make em look good but doesn’t fix the deep grooves. Not saying that store is doing it but they might have got some records from someone who is. Spooky Tooth is great. That’s a great one. Do you already have Amboy Dukes journey…. If Bowie surprised you you will think I completely lost it in two weeks on the 24th. I have cornbread every month and sometimes make it from scratch.
