I tried El Pro 48 but didn't like it so much. It was crazy fast but the feeling was a bit strange. Honestly, I'd rather prefer typical normal sponged rubbers such as EL-P, MX-P or Bluefire series.
I think if this new concept of thinner topsheet&thicker sponge is a real advantage , then every brand would be aiming at that technology, however Thibar released Aurus series (Select/Prime) and they weren't really successful. So, their only new released at 2019 was another version of classical MX-P sponge with same topsheet but harder sponge at 50°.
In the end I guess every has been invented.
DHS had this technology a long time ago: Gold Arc 8 and also the hard version for 50. Other manufacturers have copied and improved the materials a bit. It is produced in one factory. The concept was Chinese. China creates table tennis.
@@TableTennisExperts I own Gold Arc 8 at 47.5 and the sponge is not that thick, looks like another regular sponge. I don't know about 50° version though.
If you compear to tenergy 05. Witch one has the most spin and speed?
Pls answer
This is different from tenergy!
@@TableTennisExperts but witch rubber can you produce most spin and speed with?
It depends on the playing technique.
In most cases this will be less turnover.@@moltasbergomlarsson5367
It's weird, but I've been using Tenergy 0.5 for 15 years or more... And I've tried many rubbers looking for an alternative (due to the price of Tenergy). And the ones that are the most similar in terms of feeling, speed and spin for me are: Gewo nexxus EL pro 48 and Tibhar mx-p. Mmmm and maybe rakza X if it's for backhand. Currently I'm using Rakza XX on forehand and nexxus EL pro 48 on backhand (with Viscaria) and I've got another racquet with dignics 0.5 on forehand and super select 48 on backhand (with Primorac Carbon). Nexxus 48 is like Tenergy or similar. Super select serie is more like Dignics 0.5 (not 09c, those are Codexx super select) but this one of the video , nexxus 53 is a little faster than Tenergy 0.5 and a more linear arc (lower throw angle), but anyway I would say it has a little more control than Tenergy or mx-p. The only problem with these rubbers is that they tear a little bit on the edges as well as Tenergy, but they characteristics last a long time. Good rubbers. Super select series last longer, but they are different, harder surface (topsheet)
So it will depend on your likes. If you like Tenergies...nexxus EL is ok, if you like Dignics 0.5 I'd say Rakza XX is similar even though rakza xx has a little more spin and speed, but dignics 0.5 has a bit more control.@@moltasbergomlarsson5367
