I feel I have too many fragrances at around 60 haha! But I’m addicted and still want more fragrance experiences! I just have to admit this is a hobby and will continue to collect without feeling guilty! But the guilt does get to me at times, why? I guess perfume is a luxury but it’s so much fun and gives me joy! Why not after seeing your collection I don’t feel so bad, it’s truly impressive , love your style I find you so calm and classy x
Thank you Mel. I think this video is for all those who feel guilty of buying too many fragrances or for those ladies who get blamed by their husbands/partners in buying too many fragrances 😁
@@styledigest9819 i'm actually shocked to see that men have, actually, the most impressive collections. But, in general, men accept this, of course, from their partners only if they are passionate themselves, too, otherwise it's not allowed 😃
@Mel Jay, after years of a perfume allergy (still need to be careful) and very limited finances I finally got into fragrances again a year ago. The budget is still very limited, but discovering the Arabian perfume houses & Zara has really helped me, as well as friends and family giving perfume as a xmas or bday gift and me selling some stuff for more budget & switching around a few things. I added A LOT lately. I'm going to declutter a few of my fragrances (they no longer work on my skin, didn't survive the extreme summer we had, or they were a blind buy fail), but with two new hauls coming in so I have something (hopefully) decent, preferably addictive where you keep sniffing yourself, for the cold months I'll not notice the ones missing. Actually...I'm ashamed to admit I wanted to scream-type "me toooo" at your "around 60" and then realised that if I deduct the 8 to-be-nixed perfumes, but then also count my 10ml travelsprays & incoming fragrances - and I kinda think I should - I'm actually around...[whispers]...80! Huh... it looks way less! And I use all of them, that's what makes it so bizarre. I have that perfume eating skin chemistry (also very dry) that means you have to be on Team Overspray and take a Travalo with you wherever you go (I think I have only 3 fragrances that last me 5+ hours, the rest is 3hrs or less with barely any projection), so I don't have to worry as much as other people that I won't finish up a bottle. Pretty much 80% of the fragrances I bought this summer (July/August) are already half empty. And then I'm not talking about 3 perfumes 🤣🤣. So yeah, with me often using 3 fragrances per day - one day-time, one evening/ night out, one for bed - it suddenly seems like a small collection. And some of them won't return because they're discontinued fragrances, okay enough for now but not as a repeat, or while I really love them they disappear in 30 minutes... So I'm really curious how many I'll have this time next year. I live tiny, so I think 100 is the maximum, unless I find a way to create perfume storage on my ceiling (dang, that actually sounds really cool!).
Beautiful collection as proof of your excellent taste. I made a lot of blind blind purchases after getting to know your channel. And they were all successful. Thank you! And again - your husband is lucky!))
I love how you have organized your collection. Its very impressive! I think it makes the most sense to have them arranged according to scent category/family. You could have a shelf for Wish List Scents where you make little placards by January 1st of the fragrances you hope to buy throughout the year and replace them with the perfumes once you get them - And see by the end of the year how many fragrance you manage to get...Then start over every year...
oooh I love seeing collections . After watching you for almost a year now , I trust your opinions and share your tastes , so I was identifying as many bottles as I could . Wallet says ouch . LOL ! I have collected for almost 50 years , keep my bottles at around 75 , but I don't count how many decant/samples I have . My first scent at the age of 12 was Dior Diorissimo .
Amazing collection Leila. Would love to see a long version of your collection, as many of the fragrances that you own, cannot be found over here and would love to know more about different fragrances, what they smell like or what is their name. And thank you for sharing with us your passion and love for fragrances. I love your arrangement as it makes more sense in this way, rather than by designers. 💖💖
In watching your video, I was once again struck by the beauty and elegance of perfume bottles. What joy they and the fragrances within bring to our lives. Thanks Leila 🎇
Beautiful display and very well organized. I enjoyed stopping the video at times to spot some familiar fragrances that are on my shelf too. Thanks Leila 🌺
I can see a lot of from my shelves😁 I have over 400 perfumes. I have them in brand's order but I think your idea is great. I will try to put them in families' order. Great collection😍😍😍
Leila, your perfume collection and the way you arranged it it's so satisfying to watch! It makes me so happy seeing it! It is very neatly arranged and looks very organized! Thank you for this lovely video!
Hi Leila, Thank you for sharing your beautiful collection with us. I love how you are storing them and have categorize them. I too am going to will be letting go of Madame Gres. It is not working for me. I like the initial opening, but the dry down an hour later seems sour on me. Oh well, It's departure will make room for another treasure! Have a good weekend!!
What a stunning perfume collection 🤩 So many hidden gems you have. Now I'm just craving to see them up-close and in details 😅 Can you please make separate videos about each shelf's content?🙏😊 It would be a real treat to watch them all 🤗
I miss L from Lolita Lempicka so much 💔 You are so lucky, I remember I was got my last few bottles discounted but I just thought it was because it wasn't a popular brand abroad, I never suspected it would be discontinued, otherwise I would have stocked up xx
Wow so beautiful Leila. I have a lot of fragrances over 400. I’ve been a collector most of my adult life. I like how you have them organized. thank you 💕
I'm late to the party, but have 3 possible options for your empty shelf: 1. Woody, 2. Spicy, 3. Gourmand. Also: your fragrance room is bigger than my bedroom 🙄. For me it's absolutely impossible to put my fragrances in a dark, climate controlled environment. I just don't have that space and my house is rent- control, old too. They're currently on clear 360° organisers on the dresser of my bedroom. But my curtain is always closed, so they don't get sun. I've started to switch between warm and cold months because I've gotten too many perfumes now to put all of them on the 360's. But the ones that come off the organisers actually are standing before or on top of the books in my admin & research closet 😒🤦♀️. Ideal it isn't, but it's the only storage I have with doors closed that still has some (hàd) space left. I'm thinking of creating storage of orange crates hanging just under the ceiling for at least a full shelf of my research books (from when I was still an academic and also reviewed certain art and books on the side for fun) and then more perfumes can be stored inside the closet. But I'm impressed by your collection, and slightly surprised you don't have more Orientals. (No idea why , lol). And you're correct: you're no longer allowed to say you don't like florals! That almost looked like the fullest shelf too (not to mention that rose is a flower too, and some of those freshie beach fragrances could very well be secret florals too, wink).
Such a beautiful collection! And such a simple and stylish way to store them. Last summer I put my pumps collection in 2 of those shelves, very happy as well. Light to heavy is how I've sorted my bottles, on the main shelf at least, the rest I'm currently reorganizing. Tempted to switch to your system, but I got ugly bottles to hide, and might despair at the sight of a whole new setup. ^^
Hi Leila, I never want to miss any of your videos, every Saturday morning in LA I’m waiting for your video lol. That was very interesting the tour for your collection. Organization is key and I need to do a better job for sure. This is inspiring but now to find room or a better cabinet! oxJulia

I thought you were going to open up that cabinet/cupboard you were in front of originally. But obviously 200 would probably not fit in there lol. You commented about some you're decluttering.
