Nice layout guys!! I have a 40' HC container in Alaska that I started making into a Tiny home last year (2022) and will finish up in spring 2024 and move in. Are y'all considering Alaska in your expansion plans??? If not, you should. There are a lot of opportunities up there in the "cabin rental" business. At some point I may convert my container to an AirBnB if I build a larger house; or, I'm considering adding 2 12X20 extensions of the long side of the container, the space between those will become a deck. Thanks for reaching out Bill! Sounds like an awesome project! The nice part about our products is that they can be trucked pretty much anywhere there is good road access. We have a client who purchased two 20ft units and is doing well operating them as AirBnbs!
The county I live in would never allow them to be used as a home. 900 square feet minimum. The sad thing is you could be a lifelong resident here. If your home catches fire or a tornado destroys your home and you don't have insurance. Alot of retired people and disabled people don't here. Well, you are now homeless even though you may own plenty of land.
We are doing our best to show local government and municipalities the benefits of this housing class, and the advantages over mobile homes. Square footage minimums are a challenge we run into constantly, but having consistent conversations with your local representatives will go a long way!
@@ContainingLuxury My wife was on the town board where we live until 12/31/2023. She fought to allow small homes. The town we live in is about half vacant lots and that is increasing every year. The town itself budget is dwindling. She argued not everyone needs a huge house, but everyone should have a place to live. She pointed out over and over vacant lots pay very little as far as property tax goes. The town owns the water utility, everyone's bill is rising to cover the cost to run it. They can't afford to replace mains that are in bad shape. She pointed out vacant lots use no water. But it all fell on deaf ears. The others keep thinking someone will come in and build high dollar homes. Sad

Do you offer double wide / multi connex construction options? IMHO 8' wide is too small of a space. I've been perusing connex home designs and I've found some I've liked and a lot I do not. Do you know if connex homes are eligible for a VA loans? Typically, shipping containers aka connexes have to endure typhoon winds whilst being carted across the oceans and can be stacked to the moon. So, they're inherently tough. Say hello to your dog for me.
Would these be allowed to be put on a lot in the typical mobil home park in Florida? My in-laws have a place in North Port and there are a lot of empty lots because of the hurricane from last year.
Absolutely, our units can be placed pretty much anywhere RV's or mobile/manufactured homes can go! It would depend on the local municipality, you can always call your local zoning department and ask, or read through their ordinances which are typically found on their website.

We are working on our state certifications, and are very close to final approval! This is considered a manufactured home by most municipalities but each one is different. We are working with as many government officials as we can to help them understand this housing type and why it is so important to get out in the community!
Do you offer “White Box” containers with electrical, plumbing, Insulation etc complete. But no cabinets, countertops, shower stall, toilet and appliances included? I have a developer looking to “customize” with their or products.

Am I to understand this unit comes to about $80,000 [before costs of shipping/installing, and without the stainless appliances]?
Hi! I live in Florida and we bought a 40' container earlier this year. After almost 3 months, code enforcement came and tagged us, saying that a shipping container was not allowed on private property. We are still fighting that one, but in the meantime, we have to bring the container up to code. They want siding and a roof put on the container. We found a video posted by The Container Guy, that uses a kit that they sell to make this happen, without a lot of money and construction. We contacted them, but because they are in Canada, they have no wind ratings or other specs that will meet Florida's building codes. Do you have anything like that that you sell? @@thanhtu906090 We found out that the exterior kit that "The Container Guy" sells, does NOT have a wind or storm rating on it. We could not get a permit to use this system because of it. We are forced to go the traditional route and have to spend more money. I called The Co9ntainer Guy's office, and they told me that in order to get a rating on the kit, I would have to hire an engineer, which is the same thing that code enforcement told me. That would cost anywhere from $5000 to $7000.
Let me know if a temporary office rental is more convenient for you. I have multiple options ready to deliver within a weeks' time frame with delivery and pick up charges up front. We also furnish any office with multiple rental options for seating and break areas as well as conference and basic cafe packages. If a more permanent solution is key- this channel and host has you covered.

I listened to podcasts about a pizza chain using this platform. You won’t find it other places because it’s a private business and these private stock companies are the only way they are allowed to access those opportunities. It’s like getting into a company before it goes public but allows the company to grow slow not money over everything like an investment firm would want. They want 3-4X and sell out with the IPO no matter what it does to the product.

There is a good amount of storage shelving in the bathroom area, or you could have a standalone wardrobe.
