I actually made a post on tumblr about this. Sun's mind is considered "empty" by everyone who sees it, and he once coached Old Moon about how to deal with being in pain, when Lunar trapped him. So my theory is that Sun basically emptied his own mind as a coping mechanism. He spent years being tortured in his own mind, and he talked about how he coped by numbing himself and not thinking about it. So he essentially stopped himself from thinking and feeling for years, before the separation happened. But he never got the chance to really heal from this, so it's still his coping method, he just thinks it's his normal self now, because it's all he's really ever known.

I love how Solar takes care of Lunar. For him, he plays the role of the brother who has never been in his life. Ironically, the reason Lunar is traumatized is Eclipse, and the person keeping Lunar from his recent life is another Eclipse.
I'm getting the feeling that Solar watching the Willy Wonka movie with Sun meant a lot more to him than he originally thought and that is bitter sweet to me. It's basically a happy memory he shared with his Sun before things turned out the way they did. Lunar I think you're gonna have to tell Solar the truth about the memory you really saw eventually. He already knows that you were lying about it and it'd just be a lot easier to come clean rather than keep it to yourself.
I thought Solar's mindscape would be a factory or a mechanical forest. I was not expecting Willy Wonka. (but that kind of would explain his creativity.) Solar is too nice to just drop the subject of catching Lunar lying to him. I think if Sun's mindscape is the epitome of stress, I think it would be a world endless rain. Or a volcano getting ready to erupt.

I keep imaging sun's mind having a corner where his hallucinations live, and when he's actively having one they just have free reign to terrorize both outer and inner sun.
I’d imagine its a place where he’s in a dark room that has words that he thinks of himself that are negative or negative things that others have called him, and then on the outside it’s a burning world that he’s trying his very best to fix up but it’s just not enough.
Solar doesn't wanna risk Sun because his Sun was killed, he doesn't want his new Sun to get taken from him and the rest. Besides, no one wants to know how anxious visually Sun is in his own mind.

Okay everyone theory time. What if, we use that weird ball thing on Eclipse when he’s not paying attention? Lunar would likely be okay with doing it, because if he’s not charging, he will inevitably die. But it might ALSO give us more insight and characterization on Eclipse himself, and I’m personally incredibly curious about what his mindscape might look like.
I am kind of disappointed that this episode really didn't explore a whole lot of Solar's inner monologue or memories, aside from surface level stuff or what we already know.
Im pretty sure they were talking about Solar's Sun at the early time in that dimension when Solar didn't have a body of his own and he still went by Eclipse. Before his Sun broke down due to the forceful extraction Solar's Moon did to him and his Sun.

We’ve only ever seen just a plain mindscape as Sun’s head I believe because a lot of the time he’s portrayed as dumb or “no thoughts head empty” kinda character. I wish we would know a bit more about him like talents and interests. _Weird add on, but once I had a lil daydream that Sun had a head space sort of like Sunny Omori_

I just realized, Solar at the end said that the star power had been slowly killing him during that time... and it's a common saying when you have a near death experience that "your life flashed before your eyes." That's probably why he got sucked into all those memories... because he was slowly starting to die!

Well that was interesting, Solar definitely has quite the organized and clean mindscape space, honestly I kind of had a feeling that he'd have a mindscape like this. Lunar also witnessing his Moon's death really has to be some form of unsettling for him, it's not the Moon he knows.. but it's a Moon still. At least they know they can do that whole mind thing, definitely should make sure Earth will be plugged in if they do this whole mindscape jump thing. I also imagine Sun's mind might be in a bit of disarray for sure, probably trying to clean and Organize it but it just ends up messy again-
Suns mind would probably be a dark prison where he’s confined, constantly tortured by Bloodmoon, Eclipse and Old Moon while he tries to hold himself together to keep everyone happy on the outside. Sun seems pretty normal on the surface, but I can only imagine what unspoken horrors lie inside.
I think Sun's mindscape would just be the daycare, similar to it, or maybe still that cloudy mindscape. He's always been so much into his work, so it could be rooted into him like that, or because Sun's mind had always been called empty, it may even be more blank than Solar's..

Hearing Solar realize that the whole time they were in there, joking about Willy Wonka, he was dying scared me BAD.
They had no idea his battery was draining. Idk if an empty battery means literal death, but it probably wouldnt be helpful as star power courses though someone. For all we know it was draining his battery to maintain the power lest it eat away at something more important, like code.

We’ve only ever seen just a plain mindscape as Sun’s head I believe because a lot of the time he’s portrayed as dumb or “no thoughts head empty” kinda character. I wish we would know a bit more about him like talents and interests.

I just realized, Solar at the end said that the star power had been slowly killing him during that time... and it's a common saying when you have a near death experience that "your life flashed before your eyes." That's probably why he got sucked into all those memories... because he was slowly starting to die!
He meant his battery was dying, not he was dying

Well that was interesting, Solar definitely has quite the organized and clean mindscape space, honestly I kind of had a feeling that he'd have a mindscape like this. Lunar also witnessing his Moon's death really has to be some form of unsettling for him, it's not the Moon he knows.. but it's a Moon still. At least they know they can do that whole mind thing, definitely should make sure Earth will be plugged in if they do this whole mindscape jump thing.
I also imagine Sun's mind might be in a bit of disarray for sure, probably trying to clean and Organize it but it just ends up messy again-
Suns mind would probably be a dark prison where he’s confined, constantly tortured by Bloodmoon, Eclipse and Old Moon while he tries to hold himself together to keep everyone happy on the outside. Sun seems pretty normal on the surface, but I can only imagine what unspoken horrors lie inside.

I think Sun's mindscape would just be the daycare, similar to it, or maybe still that cloudy mindscape. He's always been so much into his work, so it could be rooted into him like that, or because Sun's mind had always been called empty, it may even be more blank than Solar's..

I thought Solars mindscape looked familiar then it clicked xD however, I do wish we could have deleved deeper into Solar's thought process a little more but it makes sense it's so organised.
I wish Lunar didn't lie to Solar. Lunar is probably the one person Solar trust more than anyone. And omg my heart, Solar's mindscape is based off a bonding moment he had with his Sun. He probably didn't even realize how much that moment meant to him until now.

I just had a horrifying realization. Earth also has a screen, probably for the same reason. But's it in the forest she never goes into. So not only does she have something in her head that makes her forget, she is also blocked from reviewing ANY of her memories!

You can actually change memories in your head if you want to, It takes time, and a lot of effort, but it is possible. I think solar changed it so we will feel............ less uncomfortable? I'm not quite sure why he did that.
