its not really even a prayer round dance songs aren't sacred they're meant for fun and are out for the public. if they were sacred we would sing them in sweata and other things so dont get on your high horse yet bro.
and you are wrong also. some of the songs used in todays contemp round dances r cerimonial and call in songs for the grand fathers and grandmothers. plus other ones. then there is the tradtional round dance that really isnt practiced that much any more but still there and you have to smoke pipe before you sing your songs and not everyone can be the lead.
