I missed quite a few steps, threw the chicken thighs in for about 45 minutes. I started my Minute Rice about 40 minutes early, looked in the pantry, and saw some chicken corn chowder. Hmmm.
Through the chicken corn chowder in with the rice, waiting on the thighs to get done. My wife doesn't appreciate thighs like I do, but who's cooking? 😆

Grating the onion works wonderfully if you have family that doesnt like seeing onions in their food, it completely melts away leaving only the flavoring, just a nifty trick I learned while attending cooking school at TH-cam University, lol

Thank you Mrs Young. I made this tonight. My husband is very picky so it’s hard for me to find meals that he may like even though he comes home every night looking for a full meal!! I made this and I hope he,ll eat it. 1 note to others I’ve found that Sazon can make your meals very salty. I didn’t use any other salt but my dish came out saltier than I would like and I used the Success Brown rice and it took forever to soften in the dish. If I use Brown rice again I would par boil it first and then add it to the dish to finish cooking in the soup.

OMGI MADE it a second time! Even better! My husband brought home boneless skinless chicken breast’s and wants me to duplicate this, his NOWW FAVORITE DISH, GINA! Luckily, he brought home those earthy mushrooms, so, lots of butter, love , peppers and onions on a sauté to make up for those tender thighs! Wish me well!❤️🙏🏻👍🏻
