Nice place but it actually looks pretty sad with all the excessive masks wearing and for what? The whole world has moved on from the pandemic but these clowns in Kalaland seems to be stuck in 2020. Pretty pathetic to be honest.

Thanks for dropping by! There is no mask mandate in Thailand, so people put on the mask voluntarily. One major reason is the high air pollution in Bangkok. People there wore lots of masks already pre-pandemic, so people continue to wear it now to avoid permanent coughing and lung damage.

@@mundanetravellerI'm actually local and no, they didn't. Not at this volume anyway. Prior to the pandemic, you'd never see anyone wearing mask in malls like CTW, EmQuartier, let alone Siam Square. These clown maskers are destroying the look of this country. Shame on them. Bunch of cowards.
