I kinda forgot to talk about the pricing of these cubes... sorry about that (i got them for free can u blame me 💔) I am much aware that the difference in price for the ballcore and non ballcore is a huge gap. And to be honest, I dont really know if 4x4s really need a ballcore, but i can see it being useful on a 5x5. If you want the best of both worlds, get the single track or the dual track, the extra magnets for the triple i dont think makes a drastic change in the cube, so its not really necessary, but if you can afford it, why not!

The Hong is supposedly 60.8mm so I think the Aochuang v7 should be exactly 60
Also quite intresting that you described the Gan as feeling as though there is almost nothing inside, because in my review where I analyzed the mech it's actally really crazy inside (Huachuang revived basically), but Gan did add a lot of hollow holes all over their pieces to reduce the weight while Moyu tends to make thier cube pieces feel more solid. Definitely agree with you there, I think we are using different words to describe the same thing.

      Yup haha
Also idk everywhere i looked always gave me a diff result for the size of the hong so i just stuck with 60mm 😭

@@kodakun2 I remember the 60.8 number from the Hong promotional material, plus I have the Valk, WRM, Gan, Hong, (don't have a v6), and a Vernier calipers

The "single track" one is the only one that's worth it. Paying more than double the price for having a ball core on a 4x4 makes no sense (and on a 5x5... I don't think it makes much of a difference). Even if it's slightly better (I don't think so), the price jump is way too much. And paying triple the price to have a few more extra magnets it's borderline a scam.
I'm glad Moyu is releasing these puzzles without those extra probably useless gimmics, so I can buy it at a fair price.

I have the hong and the gan 5x5 but I really want to get the aochuang. I used to main the WRM and it was one of my favorite 5x5s for a very long time. My biggest problem with the gan 5x5 is that when it locks, it's really difficult to get it back into cube shape even though it rarely ejects pieces. I'm also not a big fan of the larger size of the cube, it just tires me out to use it compared to the Hong or the WRM. Also, most importantly the aosu is by far the best 4x4 I've ever used, if the aochaung has the same quality then it's going to be the best 5x5.

Leon, which is better, X-man Hong or Aochuang v6?

Is this 5x5 better than the GAN 562? I’m looking for a long overdue upgrade.

Seems counter intuitive single track 4x4 is the best of the bunch. First for Aochuang V6!
