I appreciate your effort, even though both of you are not from the Hindi-speaking region, you're making videos in Hindi (albeit with some imperfections). That's dedication...
I test rode this simple dot 1 priced at 1.57 odd on road Bangalore. This has 3.5kwh battery with motor peak capacity of 8. Something Watts. If I compare it with ola S1x 4kw version priced at 112 something with 6 something peak power, the fit and finish is certainly a lot better to look at and also to feel. The swingarm, brake callipers, disks and switches are certainly much better than Ola. Also it has a colour touch screen and 4 riding modes vs a non touch display and only 3 modes on Ola. But it has only 3.5kwh battery vs 4 in the Ola. Tyre sizes are similar. Braking is much better vs drum brakes on the Ola. But it does not have any regenerative braking at all and no cruise control. So Ola can compensate for the drum brakes with great regenerative braking both coasting and forced, in fact you won't need the brakes once you master the throttle control. For the extra riding mode Ola compensates with cruise control. For the better fit and finish Ola gives a bigger battery with better range. So for a price difference of 45k, how does simple dot one compensate again the Ola s1x 4kW version? Alloy wheels? Better looks? So it doesn't seem to justify it's price tag. Service centre experience is unknown for simple and bad for Ola, even then 45k extra doesn't make sense. Compared to Ola, mirrors and switches are great on the Simple. I love the control I get with regen braking and the convenience of cruise contro on Olal. Luggage hooks and boot space are similar in both. Buying simple is suddenly not so simple with that pricetag. Compared to what Bajaj offers with their Chetak, maybe Simple has a simpler battle, not with Ola. Even their 5.1kwh version which can compete with s1pro is priced at 1.75 with no maps yet and a smaller screen. Good scooter but expensive against the competition, especially in value for money quotient.
Am using simple dot one.... 126weight excellent road grip no vibration or vibling etc at high speeds....super brakes and super suspension 👌 Battery and motor both given 8year warranty... 👍 Motor has peak power of 8.5kw
@@sriharsha245 i got a old s1x 4kwh scooter at 1.03 lakhs, spent 1000 on a centre stand and mats for the floor and storage area, spent another 1000 on company bike cover. Great range for the price. Yes 'simple' feels much more premium but I'm more happy with the savings right now. Hope you have a great ride, assuming you're from Bangalore too
Honest Review of Simple One Bike: Not Worth the Price After spending 1.8 Lakhs on the Simple One Bike, I regret my purchase. Although I made the decision based on reviews, my experience has been disappointing, and I feel this bike is not worth the investment. Here are the main issues: 1) Misleading Range Claims Advertised Range: They promote a certified range of 212 km, which initially sounds impressive. Actual Range: However, after fully charging, the display shows an estimated 190 km, but in reality, it only achieves around 90 km on a single ride. If you're riding with a passenger, the range drops further to about 70 km. This discrepancy between advertised and actual range is frustrating and impacts daily usability. Riding Limitations: The team suggests that to maximize range, you should ride below 35 km/h. This restriction defeats the purpose of owning an electric bike, especially for those expecting a versatile commuting solution. If I wanted to ride that slow, a bicycle would be a better and cheaper option! 2) Lengthy Service Time From my experience and others' reports, servicing takes an unreasonably long time. For instance: My bike took 14 days in one instance and nearly a month in another. Waiting this long for a service is inconvenient, and it’s uncertain when the bike will actually be ready. For a product at this price point, the service experience should be faster and more reliable. 3) Poor Riding Experience If you're hoping for an enjoyable ride, you’ll likely be disappointed. The limitations in range and speed make this bike impractical for anything beyond very short commutes. Attempting longer trips of 40 km or more is risky because you can’t rely on the range holding up. It’s clear that the marketing claims don’t match up to real-world performance. 4) Better Alternatives Considering the poor performance and high maintenance time, it’s wiser to invest in a conventional petrol bike: A good petrol bike costs around 75,000 INR. With the remaining 1 Lakh, you could invest or save it for future needs, ultimately offering better long-term value and peace of mind. Final Thoughts: Unfortunately, the Simple One Bike falls short on multiple fronts. If you’re considering it, I’d recommend carefully re-evaluating based on this experience and possibly exploring other options.
I have bought Simple one on last week and I started towards Mysore which is 150kms from Banglore on the ECO mode after travelling 131kms the both the batteries were discharged and I had to two it to my house. And when I kept it for charging it took 10hours to rreach 100%. When I checked with the shoroom team they told to full charge and check. Did you overcome this issue on the begining. And when the vehicle battery were literally dead after 131kms I was broken at that time. Could you please share your feedback how it performed and how much range and how many hours does it take to full charge.

took the test ride, was useful in 2021, useless in 2024, onroad price 155k for simple dot one is not at all justified, i won't buy it in even 90k

Don't post false.....growup
He's telling the truth. I am getting around 100km only from a long time. 200 km range is a dream
Please balance the cells in battery by riding and charging for around 1 Month then you will get single seat ~170km .
Meri passion pro ❤
He is telling lies, I am also using a simple one in Bangalore...I am getting 130_140 km
Planning to book one in Bangalore. Unsure about the performance drop at 45% battery life? Is it that bad compared to Ather/Ola?
Shame on you for telling lies 👎

Performance below 30% battery is not good. I am also getting only 110km even while riding in eco mode for full charge
Please let don't panic please use it as usual after a month on using and charging cells will be balanced and will get close range of ~170-190

Yes.

Reason why I didn't book SE 1 is 3 year 30k warranty only !!
