1 Timothy 2:12 NKJV - And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 1 Corinthians 14:34 NKJV - Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says.
…and yet I feel like hearing her preach when I’m in my darkest hour. I have the holy spirit and spirit of discernment as part of that. Why do I not feel a spirit contrary to God if she is not meant to speak? Not a word she speaks is incorrect, confusion, repetitive or not in the effort to save. Perhaps we should question was that scripture pertinent only in a time when women were not as educated as a general rule? In regard to demeanor or leadership qualities she does not lack.
