I’ve done a few recordings of the OC’s with the aircon off 1423 is one of them all those OC’s in the 1420 series sound nice.

Sometimes the same bus (gas bus) has a loud ZF, but other times it doesn't. I don't know why?

Sometimes, the ZFs on gasbuses would usually develop new sounds making then sound different or possibly louder or maybe less louder. What also makes a gassie’s loud ZF quieter can also be due to replacement. for example TP1993.
