- Here is my video comparing the Samsung Galaxy S22 against the Samsung Galaxy S21! If you are thinking about buy one of these, watch this!
I did a similar video about 2-3 weeks ago. The main difference is I was using a dummy S22 phone for that video. A ton of people asked me to redo the video when I had my real S22 in hand. Your wish is my command!
I take a deep dive in comparing the phones sizes, sides, screens, and a little bit of tech specs talk. I will do a more in-depth review of these two phones in a couple of weeks.

Love the fact that he put the effort to apply the same wallpaper and icons layout, helps a lot with comparing the resolutions.
So both basically the same phone but the s22 has a worse battery but looks little better.
S22 charges faster as well with 120hz

Friend has S22, I have S21. I wanted a cheaper S20 FE, but its 3 yo now so fear the OS support. Also was thinking about the S21 FE, but since the S21 was the same price for me, I had to get the S21. S22 is smaller, lighter, will have 1 year extra support. Thats all. S21 is the same phone + 0.2 inches, + 300mAh battery, rounder body and a plastic back that you never know in a case. I actually used to use a phone with a broken glass back I just tossed into garbage, put on a case, which held the phone and made it look like it was brand new, so...
In our case, friend paid for new S22 900$ and me for a used, but almost like brand new in 1 year warranty 350$. I guess you can tell who made the better choice + the screens look like 99% the same except the minor size difference. And the S21 bottom "chin" is nothing. Have you seen pixels or other phones? S21 chin is nice and thin

The S22 still have 3 mics but the third one is hidden behind the back glass panel near the cameras for better mic while shooting videos.
Watching this on my Samsung s10 512 GB.
S10 and Note 10 series were the best from Samsung! Hands down!

@@ToshiCOE frankly speaking there is no need for an upgrade unless u r looking for a 5G device.
@@lively_limitless the s10 is capable of 5G but in my case my son has nearly destroyed my phone and the battery life isn't what it used to be. I feel like I have to charge my phone every 2 hrs. So I figured why not upgrade it's been about 3 years since I got my s10.

One s10 is smaller in size with 6.1 inch display. This one is not 5g compatible.
The another one is s10 5G which has a bigger 6.7 inch screen.
I own the smaller s10 512 GB.

The S22 is peak samsung. The battery life is alright, but for $800 in 2022 it could be more efficient 🤔. The design, camera, and screen are immaculate. I don't think any Galaxy in the next three years will be worth buying at this point. Unless... it achieves two day battery status 😅

I quickly learned how devastating it is to have a "flagship" phone that lasts barely a day.
Its all nice and cool to have a pretty phone with high end specs, but the battery is my main point.
Lets get real here, majority uses a phone for messaging and calls, web searches, TH-cam and socials...and to charge the battery frequently means degrading in charge cycles etc. Look 1 year iphones under 90%

I actually prefer the plastic on the S21 to the new glass. Less to break, more shock absorbent, and lighter. I wish we had more high-quality plastic in smartphones!

Tbh the s21 feels like a better phone, like for One there's not much difference the thing. The difference are the size, the cameras size not the look ,and other then that not much difference.

I dont see the issue with battery it lasts me until I go to bed around 11pm with normal usage and about 25% remaining on average
upgrade to s22? My s10+ is running out of battery quickly nowadays so would the regular s22 be a good upgrade? I've heard and see that it's battery life is very short so what is your opinion?
You should probably get an s21 as you can get it new for less than 500 now
I have no issues with battery on s22 lasts all day everyday I never ran out of battery

@@lexxcurtis not saying s21 is bad for using plastic but you can't deny the s22 is more premium due to glass back, thats a fact... also it dosent feeling like an iPhone as the corners are still smoother than the sharp edges. It does certainly looks like one though apart from the ugly notch on the iPhone... but that's not a bad thing.

I wouldn't say it's worse necessarily. It's about the same. My issue is Samsung deciding to drop down to 3700 mAh in 2022. If they would of just left it at the old size the battery life would be even better. I'm averaging roughly 5 hours of screen on time but I'm more cautious of my usage. I don't like that feeling of making sure I'm near a charger. Like when I'm using my iPhone 13 Pro, I don't ever worry about keeping my charger close by. Just the sandal things like that. Literally my main and only gripe about the phone.
@Roy Florez Thanks for your reply. Yes the size is nice and they probably had to reduce the battery size to fit in a smaller body. It the battery life is almost the same, then its superior to s21 in terms of build, look and updates. I have s21 and iphone 12 mini and was thinking of exchanging the 12 mini for s22 without much loss because of the exchange value, as two phones mean lesser tension. The size of 12 mini is beautiful though. Thaks again

@@ASAFYY I wouldn’t say that it’s 20% worse because I’m definitely not getting 20% worst battery life and I’m actually doing the testing. I will say in more vigorous testing with heavier usage the S 22 definitely can get killed a little quicker but with my normal day-to-day use I’m barely noticing a major difference between the two

Even though this comment might be late lol, I'd say just get the samsung, besides the deal samsung's are just getting better at giving you that clean android experience without the lags of a google pixel or the flashy ads and icons of a xiaomi,realme...
I don't get it why people complain so much about the battery on the s22 being rubbish. I just recently bought the s22 and I absolutely love it the design the built quality everything such a beautiful phone. And the battery lasts me a full day sometimes 2 days. To all u people out the complaining about the battery if u want a big battery buy a big phone simple. The reason why the s22 is a small phone is because its not made for everyone it's not made for those people who are constantly 24/7 on their phone a heavy use. It's for those people who reply to text messages and emails make a phew phn calls and watch a bit of video for 2 or 3 hours that's it.
Which S22 are you using? I’ve been testing the regular S22 since day 1 and I’ve never been able to achieve more than 1 day of battery life.

Yeah, I think the new 50mp main lens is a nice upgrade for sure.

@@rss5969 yeah it is technically a downgrade going down from 64MP but I honestly can’t tell a difference when using my telephoto lens.
@@rss5969 s21 actually has a hybrid zoom. That's why they have given 64mp . S22 has proper telephoto lense.
I have a Galaxy S21 and I kinda love the s22 but I'll wait for s23 😊🙏

Samsung s22 is more good deal for me.
S22 performance doesnt feel like a significant improvement if not at all over the S21. The lower aspect ratio also means that you get less content on the screen
You mean screen size? not aspect ratio? And if you meant aspect ratio then that's not true, the s22 being slightly wider and not as tall means a better viewing experience for average 16:9 and 16: 10 videos.
