Sir in my budget i can afford m3 pro 18 gb ram or i should go with i9 laptop with rtx 4070 ,16gb ram , 1 tb ssd? My purpose is editing, i heavily use after effects. One more thing i have 32 gb ram ddr5 in my broken laptop i guess i can use that one in my new laptop and also ssd
Do you like the fastest / best performance you could get per money? It’s the the windows with RtX Do you want decent battery life - iOS macOS integration airdrop and likely 0 fan noise - the MacBook - but prob may have to accept fact that there are faster devices out there
If you're going something like a razor laptop or zenbook, galaxy, xps, those are the ones I would recommend although they are pricey. A lot of the other ones are, lack of a better word, hefty and heavy and will heat up very easily. Alienware laptops will do that even with a few chrome tabs. I know because I had one..and it was a newer one too. I was a bit disappointed in them. If you really have to stick to windows, go windows but I made the switch from windows to mac after 25 plus years and now I am using my macbook way more than ever. It feels like an actual laptop instead of carrying a giant brick around like that alienware laptop. I have both M1 Pro 14" and M1 Air 13". I would MUCH rather lose performance power so I can have more battery life and barely any fans. Infact, the performance isn't that noticeable from switching to the M1 Pro versus the RTX 3070(laptop version). On my M1 Pro, Fans only come on with high settings on dota 2 gaming and over 4k rendering video projects. The only time I'll use windows is on desktop for gaming but then again, I barely do that. Again, they are both great but for me, Desktop = PC Laptop = Apple if we are talking about in the similar price range, pound for pound comparison. PC will definitely beat it in performance to price ratio, but at a cost. The experience on using my macbooks are far superior and I enjoy it every day. Everything on my macbook just feels high quality.
@@digitalmarketinghumans Iam thinking to buy acer predator with i9 and rtx 4070 i want best laptop for editing and you know after effects is very heavy software i guess MacBook m3 pro can’t handle it acer predator and MacBook m3 pro has same price
@@Rebelx27 Sounds like you have your eyes set on the acer. Either or, I don't think there is necessary a wrong decision since they both seem to be around the price range. All the best!
Hi, new M3 air is available. Would you suggest me to go for that? I want to delve into apple ecosystem. I just game Dota 2 periodically. And I would definitely want high resolution and best settings for the game. Your opinion matters.
Could you possibly run some blender renders on this MacBook Air? Cosindering it or shall wait for the M3 announcing next month? I have your tests on M3 Pro... but is out of our budget. Appreciated!
What other problems can I expect? Did you have any thermal problems (I heard the MacBook Air doesn't have any fans)? I rarely ever game and if I do, I only play Dota 2. I'm a student and on the fence whether to get the 16gb RAM or not. I'm studying medicine. I'll use it for OneNote, watching lectures + taking notes, some browsing, music, flashcard apps, Netflix, Discord with friends and the occasional Dota 2.
You won’t get the best performance with dota 2 but your other use cases should be fine. The laptop is fabless but will self throttle so you’ll be fine - if it was an intel laptop with no fans it wouldn’t stand a chance - these Apple silicon chips are great
I am actually hesitant between two macbook models, the pro 13” m2 (2022) and the air 15” m2 (2023) which one do you think would i be more comfortable playing dota 2 on? Like no lags no stuttering, knowing that its the only game i play, and periodically too
they are both teh same M2 chip - just one has a fan so they should perform similarly in my opinion. If you have money bandwidth - id get the M2 Pro 14inch or any of the M# PRO versions of the laptop
M1 Pro 14 starts lagging after 15 min of gameplay. Lags disappear for next 15 min after restarting steam (restarting only Dota won't help). Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Sonoma 14.6.1
shoudln't be a problem - I don't nor have I ever tested with a temp monitor - I guess I could download a program but ancedotal evidence - barely noticable fans and don't feel heat on keyboard
1 Day left - $999 M2 Macbook Air 15 --- Buy if you agree with my reasoning - comment below if you think other options and why?

Prob will be fine 60fps on the m3 air.

Ok that’s a good idea. I have this laptop bought full time past return window - so I can make these types of videos quick and easy!
Than you so much! Appreciated!!!@@BlendlogicTech
