watchinng lucas play violin make me sO HAPPY because i play violin as well and i love this musical. i wish i were a bit older so i could be part of this production
Evan Newman: it wasn't a bomb, but in 1812, napoleon marched into moscow and burned it to the ground. if I remember correctly, in war and peace, anatole is fatally wounded and his leg is sawed off. historically speaking, there was no comet in 1812, it was actually in 1811. if u go back in the channel's history, there's two videos called "after the comet- marya d" and "after the comet- anatole" the first mentions the moscow fire and the second mentions his leg being sawed off. hope that explains it
Thanks Comets, I remember those videos. I saw them a wile back and I was doing research. I thought I was right but then I was like BOMB! What bomb. Thanks for clearing it up! You da best
comets Was it really Napoleon who burned Moscow to the ground? I thought it was the czar Alexander I who burned it down to practically end the troops coming into Russia?
I like how he was a little reserved at the beginning of the interview and gradually loosened up. In fact, towards the end he looked like he wanted to talk a little more! Lol
I just love actors. How different they are when playing a character. But whenever I try to act, I feel like myself. How amazing it would be to turn into an entirely different person.
That's why I LOVE acting so much, feeling, and for a moment, being a different person, with different feelings and thoughts, it's amazing! I always get too into the role I play, it just happens.
Lucas is such a beautiful person. So smart and kind and talented. I really hope he continues in broadway. I love his voice and his acting skills. Plus he's a genuinely good person. I wish him all the best in life.
Elijah I saw it for the second time recently and he didn't stagedoor, but in Dust and Ashes he walked right in front of me and I had to resist the urge to scream. He's even more beautiful in person
for petersburg sameee! Where I was sitting was amazing bc he winked at me in prologue and grabbed my hand in The Abduction!!!!! It took all my strength not to scream
@@user-tn1dy4en1w I recently found this musical, and I would have DIED. I don't know much about the story, so I hope nothing bad happens to him later in the story.
Hopefully broadway will become more open minded and offer roles based on talent rather than gender. Like with Alex Newell's role on 'Once on this Island', which was originally a female part.
Ok, last year I played my violin live onstage in Fiddler on the Roof, so I'm super happy that Lucas does that in this show. If I wasn't a female and a mezzo-soprano, I would love to play this role.
I can't wait till the cast recording is out also Zack Stark. I pre-ordered it the day it was announced and then found out my BFF also ordered it for me. Now she will have a copy too.
omg, i do not understand what is happening. i listened to the soundtrack for the first time last week, and i have not decided if i even like the show (i mean, it is fucking weird), but i have managed to become totally infatuated with lucas steele. he is, like, ridiculously captivating or something. fuuuuck.
claddagh182 It is confusing at first, but I'd suggest listening to it again with the lyrics pulled up bc honestly it's a great show but that's just my opinion.
Gosh, Lucas is such a calm, kind soul. It's super fascinating and refreshing.
Miranda Pla It's like listening to ASMR

Grace Hofer Same but I play cello. I love how awesome the strong parts are for this musical because a lot of them are super boring
STRINGS REUNITE
Oof mood I agree so much, tho I can’t actually move at anything other than a fast walk while playing... unless you’d like to lose your ears of course
the great comet was a bomb??? oh boy that's a twist
Wait? It was a bomb? WHAT?
Okay so, it's not, it's a metaphor, I think.

Elijah my friend was showing me photos of her time in New York and she had like 7 selfies with Lucas Steele XD
Elijah I saw it for the second time recently and he didn't stagedoor, but in Dust and Ashes he walked right in front of me and I had to resist the urge to scream. He's even more beautiful in person

he deserved the tony, his performance is so good
I can’t believe the comet sawed Anatoles leg off
Anatole is only sad because he lost one of his feet
the words "with Lucas Steele" warm my heart
Lucas is dreamy
My least favorite thing is being female, so I can never play Anatole Kuragin rip me
Sameee Lmao

Just imagine a completely genderbent production of this😂 charming would be hilarious 😂
Well if you’re a tenor you could play him.

Lucas is so amazing

Hello I'd like to riot as well
