Amendments to this tutorial should include the importance of winding up the torso correctly and that the paddle stroke gets planted deeply and is more of an upward pry than a reverse sweep stroke. On an eddyline, the correct timing of lowering the upstream edge is when the hips cross the eddyline. Before this point, as the front of the boat is entering moving current, the upstream edge stays lifted. All in all this tutorial is 4/10. Incomplete, but always good to see someone trying to give good info. Keep it up.
