Beautiful talk. You are providing me with an excellent chance to connect to and learn from the American intellectuals: A part of America that seems to have been killed in Europe. Thank you
@bapyou He did not admire nor support Hiltler, and made it very clear he was NOT anti-semitic. He simply did not want the U.S. to go to war, and felt that British and Jewish leaders were too busy pursuing their own interests. This was actually a common feeling at the time, as most Americans were unaware of the extreme persecution the Jews (and others) were suffering at the time. I'm not saying I agree with Lindbergh, but as you said, everything must be put into context.
@mevnen "[Lindbergh] did not admire nor support Hitler" He most certainly did. Sorry to burst your bubble. There was a strong fascist element in American society of the 30s. Fascists plotted to overthrow Roosevelt. They tried enlisting Major Smedley Butler in the effort, but Butler ratted them out to Congress. Lindbergh did admire Hitler.

A person should know if they just received a story. This kind of talk is pretentious and stupid. It is a waste of time. I'm not impressed.
