Cleaning blueberries

I clean the blueberries before I break the skins to help release the juice. This video shows the blueberry cleaner in action. It doesn't completely clean all the leaves and grass of the blueberries but it does a good enough job.

Hello, I just picked up an almost identical winnower originally built by the Maine Wild Bleberry Co. Unfortunately it doesn't have an electric motor. I'm wondering if you could help me out? Could you tell me at what rims your motor runs and what is the diameter of the pulley on the motor shaft. I suppose the h.p. would be helpful too. It is called a blueberry field winnowing machine. You can't really buy them anymore as the cleaning equipment has gotten larger and more expensive. If you google "Maine Wild Blueberries Field Winnowing Systems" you will find an article with the designs for two field winnowers. They are tricky things to build. I made one this winter that consisted of a vibration table with an electric blower beneath it. The vibration table motor and the blower plug into a generator. I haven't tested to see if it does as good a job but it was easier to build as I purchased the vibration motor and blower off amazon.
