Damn.. I'm 6'5 big and tall and if I were to buy a new Mack Anthem, I'd have room to spare. I was really hoping to see Mack get out on the long haul because they are one of my favorite truck brands as a fan.

I have been for the last 7 years and I have to admit that, nothing out stands a Peterbilt. I find that the new model highway tractors all resemble the Peterbilt 579. I could be wrong but that's just my opinion. Also, with the new emissions, (DEF-DPF) I find make the newer trucks less reliable. My 579 has gone 850000 kilometers with out a single issue, (1 recall, made by Peterbilt). I just recently got my DPF filters cleaned. Averaging 7.5-8.5 MPG. Obviously, I am a Peterbilt fan. Great job as always Chris. But as a previous Mack owner other than looks this truck is nothing but a Volvo with Mack badges . Looks good but gonna be pricey when ya need parts
the only thing i dont like about the Anthem is the new RearBumper and the Closed Rims on the Rearaxels, but non other than that it looks pritty nice and sweet
i am personally a fan of proper square nose trucks like the older 379 ect. however understand this is the future .. with aerodynamics becoming much more important. and while im not a fan of the new anthem on the looks front it will still probably be a nice truck. However it is nice to see the pinnicale with a very classic look with that style hood that they have kept for a long time. It may no longer be the main style of trucks these days but nice for companies to keep the classic looks going. Also a great video from chris as usual. keep it up

Definitely a step up for Mack. Nothing's ever been cooler than a superliner Mack. But those Hood mirrors are awful. I know they're functional but they look terrible other than that it's a pretty damn awesome truck
Just a new hood on the same old cab. I’m guessing that the same basic cab has been in use for 20+ years. No classic lines, just a bit of dime store makeup on the old lady. That sleeper was bouncing around like the Mack’s have been doing for a long time. Anybody sleeping would have been launched out of the bunk like a Flying Walenda! I believe it occurred when the lady was driving, viewed from the front right passenger side. That dancing sleeper cab should have been fixed years ago. Sorry Mack, but you’re only re-arranging the LEGOs! Maybe the corporate guys who sign the purchase orders at UPS, will be happy, but I have serious doubts that the drivers (OO’s?), grinding out those miles day after day, will want to sign up for this carnival ride! Even with a flat bottomed steering wheel 😎

Hate to put a damper on the parade :( But I drove a Mack Granite for 8 years :( 2005 model. When I tell you it was the biggest piece of junk ever, it took the taste of Mack right out of my mouth :(. I hope they got all the Kinks out of the motor, and they can put the name Mack back on top as it was in the old days. The truth will be in the pudding :( And in the years to come :(
