After reading those letters, he was originally planning to go to Bilibili and react to videos that criticised him. 🤧Thankfully, most of the fans strongly urged him not to watch them, wanting to protect him from those negative things.

Even though he has much more positive feedback than negative feedback , it’s so easy to let the negative feedback dominate the heart and brain and we don’t want that affecting him. This is so heartwarming . I got emotional myself . I am here in the USA and have no way of writing or giving a letter to Ning. But he has brought me so much joy and comfort and healing in my life , he has no idea. I have been through alot of life’s struggles and pain , especially this year and I found and discovered Xiao Ning around 11 months ago. He has made me cry and express locked up emotions that I’ve held in for years , due to trauma. He has been a therapeutic resource in my life and I want to thank him , but don’t have a way . Some days I have dreams at night that he came to New York and I bumped into him in the street and that I finally had a moment to express my gratitude to him. If anyone in China can let him know how much he means to others around the world , it would mean so much to me. Like this letter writer wrote - he deserves more happiness since he brings it to others .

Then I became drawn to his singing, his acting and eventually, my admiration grew so strong that I took the step to see him in person. That’s when I realized there was no turning back because he’s just that wonderful and he’s absolutely worth everything I’ve done for him.

If you sign up for a Weibo account, which is not easy but doable, you can possibly send him an email at the address posted on his Weibo. He might get your message that way or you could post to his Weibo directly and maybe see it. As far as not speaking Mandarin, you can use google translate to write the message from English to Mandarin and then copy and paste it! He has millions of followers but it's worth a shot. I hope you get the chance to express your appreciation!
