We had a yellow lab mixed, he was so sweet. He lived for almost 10 years. He passed last year in July. My family and I still talk to his picture today.
Great names! We've had 2 Molly's, 2 Maggie's, Yeller, Ellie, Annie, Gracie, Libby, Lucy, Emma, Sammi, Shelbie, Jenny, Elsa and now Raney. Thirty-nine years married this year, there's always been a lab, or seven, in our house.😂
Thats so great the family adopted both of the brothers so they each will have a family/litter member with them for their whole life. If i ever get a labrador once i get my own place i wanna get brothers or sisters i just cant see how people who go to breeders only get one if you can afford to make sure he or she has a sibling to live with their family member for life. Also siblings get along and behave way better than putting two random dogs or puppies from different litters or shelters if im not mistaken.
I have a black labrador retriever. He's 2 years old. I haven't took him for swimming because I can't drive. Asperger syndrome. I have chronic mental issues. I struggle a lot. But him? He's seems to teach me that the world is not a scary place on earth. There is a light. Trying to get me to think positive mindset. Rather than viewing the world dark. Negative thoughts.
We have a black lab that is coming up on 1.5 years. What a beautiful, amazing, loving, playful pup she is. I feel like I've been missing out on this breed for years now, and will never have any other breed after this. Such a loving, beautiful, amazing breed!
@@Stella_M3they chew everything and a ton of energy at first, but after the first 2 to 3 years, all of our labs have become the most chill little cuddle buddies. Just need opportunity to exercise. Walks/runs and water make them happy 😊
@@future_doctor_sam thank you! She’s now 1 and one half years old, and we take her on runs walks daily let her in the backyard ha and my favorite thing is playing in our pool and getting squirted!
i have a black lab she is the sweetest. she is 9 yet everyone thinks she is a pup because she is so small and has no greys yet. i am so grateful she has never barked and you could literally pull her tail and she would just look back at you concerned. she would never hurt a soul. just shows how great british labs are. plus how great dogs are in general.

Or boy's almost 13 now & we love him dearly but he was basically untrainable b/c Chocolate Labs are renowned for being very intelligent but equally strong willed & if they don't want to do it, they ain't doing it. As the vet said to us when he was about 10 weeks old "you never see a visually impaired person with a Chocolate Lab for that very reason."
I had two chocolate lab brothers and they were the best. They both passed, one from cancer at 12 and one old age at 13. I miss them.😢 will be getting a baby choco soon.😊

I had a black labrador for 10 unforgettable years, from 2001 to 2011. Even today, sometimes, I dream about him at night

My golden lab ping died because she could’ve breath with lung cancer but we found a white lab I named tulip 7 months later
Mine died 5 years ago and I still mourn his passing.... such a beautiful existence....
