    I like the way you guys are being frank on things - such a refreshing break from other youtubers who skim on the bad parts and fish for views. I myself am interested in a low budget travel across India, so thanks for sticking to a strict price limit.

      Thank you for your lovely comment! We share life on a budget because the majority of us don’t have tons of money but still want to travel & do it sustainably!
      We certainly aren’t rich and work for a year & then travel for as long as our savings last & I feel like that reflects the majority of people a lot more than hundreds of $$$ per day spending!
      We’re really glad you appreciate it.
      For reference our budget per day for everything is $80 both of us & all of our videos across the world fall in that price range :)

      40 dollars per person sounds good from my side, and something that I can afford to 😊

    At many small railway stations the TukTuk parking are maintained by small contract vendors. They charges some fee to auto drivers for evey entry/exit ( say 30-40 rupees). So they do rely on long distance fares or charge higher to compensate for that. When you hop a tuktuk moving on road they can provide you fare comparable to Uber. Parked one do charge a little bit higher.

      Neither were we 🤣 the problem is the standard and quality differs so much across the different trains that you never know what you’re going to get!
      Totally can be too much for some people 🤍

    1 bottle of water is always offered on 1st class and even 2nd class on all trains across india , I think the staff just scammed you because you are new to this sad to say.

    • @ConnorandLivvy
      @ConnorandLivvy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope. It wasn’t offered to anybody on board, they also wouldn’t have gained anything by ‘scamming’ as we watched him get off & buy water with the 20 rupees we gave him.
      You can probably see this is the 3rd train we’ve taken in India. All trains and experiences are different, this is ours.

      @@ConnorandLivvy oh ok but present 1st AC in india offers 1 litre bottle every 24hrs , I think since the train running for a long time they might have ran out of inventory that happens on some trains

      @@ConnorandLivvy I recommend you people to travel on rajdhani express, tejas rajdhani express, duronto express since these are the most premium trains in india

      @@keshavbhat1110well the water and food is offered only in premium trains, I would recommend the couple here to travel only premium trains, as we Indians do avoid express and mail trains and try to choose premium ones like rajdhani, duronto, shatabdi, tejas and vande bharat

    Try premium trains, avoid these trains

      @ConnorandLivvy  ปีที่แล้ว

      We did try a premium train - but that’s not how everyone travels. It’s nice to see all the different perspectives.

      @balajidubey7833 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ConnorandLivvy it true , but being an Indian, we to avoid these trains, while travelingin North India, if you travel in these trains in South India, even I would recommendthem, but in North avoid these, the vendorsin North Indian trains scam everyone. Hopefully, we will see some travels in duronto, rajdhani, shatabdi, tejas, and such types of trains during your travel in North India. In South, I would recommend you to travel in express trains 1st class
