You can't compare them with full metal-oriented bands like Nightwish or Epica or many more. In fact, stop comparing. See this song for what it is: - the new singer is stunning, with an incredible voice and she isn't affraid to show her colors in the video. - the music is smooth, and follows real well the high notes of the singer. Yes, for those who like bombastic music, this song could have more guitars rifts and all, but not all songs need them. And Nemesea proved that with their Uprise album, which is amasing. - the video is simple, yes, but pictures the lyrics. Listen to them and you'll understand why the girl stopped running and turned back. So, to all the haters. Go hate Bieber. HE and all other crappy artists like him are bad. Us fans of Napalm should show some more respect to our beloved bands, even when they sound different. PS: Great Job NEMESEA, be proud ! :)
I miss their old sound. Mana. Perfect blend of gothic and symphonic metal. At least now, with the new singer, I have some hope for them to go to the hard rock side, out of this alt/electronic rock mediocrity.
What a voice! The new singer did an outstanding job. But I have to admit it sounds like a completely different band... Maybe that is what you tried to go for, which was a good choice in my opinion. I know that you have changed your style over time in any way, but I still prefer the sound of the first album. Was a lot heavier and more fitting for Napalm. None the less, best of luck guys!

Not sure why people are complaining about the song being not heavy enough. After Mana, Nemesea's music did become lighter. Besides, I'm not sure if anyone has noticed but a lot of new singles or leading singles tend to be lighter in comparison to the releases that follow so I'm still taking this with a grain of salt. Aside from that Sanne definitely has a great voice. Whether it'll stand up to Nemesea's previous material is to be determined but I see some good potential with her.
I think she is a great replacement for Manda, her voice is beautiful ❤ The song is not my cup of tea though, let's see what the rest of the album brings.
I believe this is sadly for good. She decided to teach young gifted children from what I understand. Her voice is so unique and I will miss her greatly.
