@@KNOWLEDGEGATE_kg Sure Sir. Sir can you please make a detailed updated video on how to target the GATE examination 2022 for cracking seats in IITs, that will be very beneficial for us.
Sir,Conservative 2PL are recoverable always because unlocking done after commit only, then how you said it may suffer from irrecoverable and casscading rollback ? plz explain
sir im bit confused here , as u said that in 2-PL transaction meh saare locks acquire karega and then it will start okay i got that but at that time T2 kuch kaam hi nai karega woh toh wait karega jab T1 lock release kare this is lead to loss in concurrency (T1 kaam kar rha par T2 nai ) fir T2 karega yeh toh vhi baat hui na T1 karo fir T2 normal jaisa hota h waise hi can somebody pls explain whats going wrong here
Dear @Laksh, Inconsistency will occur only when both T1 and T2 work simultaneously. If both transactions perform their respective operations atomically then the it will be beneficial for maintaining consistency and that's what we do in conservative 2PL. In conservative 2PL, locks are acquired before any operation is performed on the data and held until the transaction commits or aborts. This ensures that all operations within a transaction are performed atomically, i.e., either all operations succeed or all operations fail. Additionally, locks are held until the end of the transaction, even if they are not needed for any further operations. This prevents other transactions from accessing the locked data until the current transaction has completed.
@@KNOWLEDGEGATE_kg par sir iss me to baat whi serial execution ki jeise hi ho gyi na. T1 apne pure execution tak koi bhi data item ko unlock nehi karega matlab T2 tab tak apna kam nehi kar payega. T2 apna kam tab karega jab T1 khatam hoga. To iss me to concurrency puri tarah se hamper ho rahi hai??

In intro he says "Mai hu aapka dost.." defination of perfect professor, he shares all his knowledge in a way it is easy for us to understand
Thanks sir g
awesome teaching skill...love it
It is exactly same as conservative approach in os...as you taught
Awesome
Sir bohut achha.... Isko complete kar dijiye plz.... Or kuch questions bhi plz bana dijiye
Thanks . Very neatly explained 👍
Brilliant explanation Sir ❤❤❤❤

Same doubt
Unlocking can occur even before commit
Conservative don't give any rule when to commit
Thanks a lot.
thank you sir
