Your attention to detail and getting the job done right are so well appreciated by those of us who want to learn this fine craft, as well as the paying customer who places his trust in your care. Well done Mark and thank you for sharing this effort to the world !

There is absolutely no way to comprehend or appreciate how incredibly small these parts are unless you’ve seen examples in person. It is so amazing how Mark simply moves them about with such ease and precision. I realize you have years of experience, but I’m still always in awe.

Mark, the Beautiful craftsmanship and hand finishing on this lovely timepiece, perfectly complimented by the beautiful workmanship and attention to detail of the true professional you clearly are. Such hand skills, knowledge and experience are a rare combination in today's plug a computer into it, technological approach.
When I was younger, I worked on Aircraft instruments, which though were no where near as aesthetically and cosmetically finished, were equally as beautifully engineered, as a person such as your self might find interesting.
I worked I a clean room working on Gyro Stabilised platforms, Rate Gyroscopes, Rate integrating gyroscopes and Inertial platforms.
I too took immense pride in my work, tolerance limits to me were a challenge not an it'll do to just meet the spec.
Personal pride you take in your work reminds me of me. I hate knowing I could have done that little bit better, I always have to feel I did the best that was possible.
Of course with aircraft instrumentation and reference systems, lives depend on the dedication of a host of unseen individuals.
I love your videos and watching the beautiful thing that is, a true professional at work!
That carries through into the quality of your videos, and why I watched this one again.

Great video of excellent work on a fine watch. These FA Jones caliber watches are especially attractive to me. This is because I first got involved in watches through pocket watches. In the late nineteenth century IWC made a Jones Caliber pocket watch that had this exquisite plate design. This watch is an excellent tribute to the original. Thanks for another educational journey, WatchRepairChannel !
