I am going to try and replicate this on heavy card stock & thin layers of acrylic paint instead of canvas to see if i can make Christmas cards this way. Beautiful result you showed! Thanks.
I would've loved to see you carry through with the soft blue, white and black for the Christmas tree, like the background trees. I wasn't crazy about the ornaments either. They look like an afterthought. I was really stoked when you started with the background. The vertical strokes and the feeling of that beautiful light shining down on this silent place in the forest, is stunning. The representation of the background trees was spot on. I'm sorry, I just wasn't a fan of the focal point.

Can you go from one step right away to the next, or give it a few minutes drying time, or let one step dry completely before moving to the next? It would be nice to know before starting instead of having to learn by trying & failing. Thanks!
