I would've loved to see you carry through with the soft blue, white and black for the Christmas tree, like the background trees. I wasn't crazy about the ornaments either. They look like an afterthought. I was really stoked when you started with the background. The vertical strokes and the feeling of that beautiful light shining down on this silent place in the forest, is stunning. The representation of the background trees was spot on. I'm sorry, I just wasn't a fan of the focal point.

I am new to this and would like to try it, as I have all the supplies. How much drying time between steps? Can you go from one step right away to the next, or give it a few minutes drying time, or let one step dry completely before moving to the next? It would be nice to know before starting instead of having to learn by trying & failing. Thanks!
Wow, what talent. I can see when it’s beginning to take shape but I would never know or see how to start developing the entire concept. Does that make sense? I’m doomed to drawing stick figures😢

Без шаров лучше смотрелось , шары грубоваты , отвлекают внимание , а оно должно быть направлено на более тонкие нежные детали . Если хочется непременно украсить ёлочку , что-то должно быть более нежное и подходящее по цвету .

Looks like a fun technique to try. My favorite part is the light middle background with darker sides as it adds so much depth.

I use dryer background painting a few minutes 🙂Because its long time to dry next step
