Good on you kurt I had depression a few year's ago and going to the gym & running really helped me out. it sound's like your brother knows his stuff and will help you at the gym. when i started my diet was the hardest thing to change for me but stick at it and after a while it becomes easy. here's a few other things that might help you out. 1.Set some realistic goal's break them and reset them 2.don't over do it in the 1st few week's 3.don't just go to the gym get a app like map my run on your phone and do a 20 - 30 min's run a few days in week but not on same day as you go to the gym. 4.try protein shake's they really do work but don't overload your body with them or you will end up pooping alot ! . 5.Rest day's are just as important as gym/running day's if you know you have strained or pulled a muscle don't go you will end up missing more than a few days. Q.What movie you looking forward to coming out this year ?
Thanks Capt'n! It's always reassuring to hear when someone has been in the same/similar position and managed to get out. Also, thanks for the tips. Sadly at the moment I'm not really confident enough to go out jogging or running in the streets of my town - it probably wouldn't be so bad if I lived in a big city or something, but I live in a small town where I grew up so everyone knows each other and that jazz. Hopefully after a while of going to the gym I'll feel more up for it.
Go jogging! That's how I started, no one really paid attention to me and I also live in a smaller city. It's best when someone goes jogging with you, if you're still not confident, go jogging in the evening!
I really appreciate the support and advice guys! I'm not blowing off the suggestion at all, but at the moment I would feel more comfortable doing a few sessions at the gym before doing that. Once I recover from the initial aches and pains from actually using my muscles then I'll start planning some jogging :)
I don't like eating either! I'm too skinny and I'm a pretty lazy person but I started exercising in October (I have to since I'm a cadet lmao) and I gained some weight, I weigh 55kg now :D
cough cough so heres some questions for your q&a question 1 : whats your favourite game question 2 : what was the saddest moment in a game that you have played question 3 : what was one of the funniest moments in a game p.s i diddnt want to do that many question because of other people if i did i would be here all day :P
well q and a are always good so heres a question for what how good is your art style and are you able to show it off in paint or something with a mouse :P and the exercising part im not really good at any thing like that as ive had the same thing that happened to you when you was as school where i got bullied a lot for being fat and having long hair and stuff but i usually ignored it and for some strange reason once i was like 10 and my sister had a massive fit with my other sister and she walked out and i started crying as i was a kid back then kids usually do that if something big happens but then i just suddenly stopped crying and i was happy all of the sudden like it never happened or i diddnt know what was happening
Regarding the incident when you were 10, obviously it's hard to say why the sudden change of emotion but as you say you were a kid and it could just be one of those things where your attention shifted, or it could've been a myriad of reasons. Sorry to hear about your bully, bud - it's always crap when someone goes through such a thing. I won't go in to details of my own experiences right now, but it lasted a very long time for me and I had some awful things happen, and while I wish no one else would have to experience such things, the plus side is it tends to make people become pretty mature and (from my experience) often turns you into an awesome person with an open mind and consideration for others. There is also the flip side where it pushes some people to lash out at others and turn into a bully themselves, but I've been lucky enough no to really know anyone who's done that (as best I can remember).
efwaGames yeah I've never figured out what happened when I was a kid so I guess it's like you said my emotions switched because of something as kids tend to get distracted of small stuff but luckily for me I was one of those people who just took the bulling and diddnt care what they said even tho sometimes because I had long hair some little year 8s came up to me to yank at my hair because it was long luckily it wasn't like down my back kind of hair that you had to put in a bun just half way down my neck long but I usually carried on walk when they did this and ignored them and some incidents was where because it was school kids kept bulling other kids or joking around so one of them thought it was funny to kick a student who's higher in the year in the balls and it did hurt but I ignored it and because I did and they diddnt get the reaction they wanted they stopped it
Yeah, it's often for the best - not to react. Making people aware (parents, teachers, etc) is a good idea but at the same time it's tough because it often just spurs the bully/bullies to pick on you all the more. Sadly, in my case, I started getting bullied at about 7 years old and, despite not giving them a reaction, it continued on for me full-on for about 3-4 years, and from there continued on a less severe level for almost all of high school.

That's great to hear! I think I mentioned it in the video but one of the hard things to go with exercising is needing to eat more (or "properly").
