I live in Jamaica, with my 12 age old son, one of three boys that was diagnosed with cerebral palsy CP. I had exhausted all the resources in my country and I am looking for a human form of divine intervention that will give my son the best help possible.
I had virtually identical rehabilitation and surgical interventions starting in 1964 age 2. My condition (complex spastic quadriplegia) had iatrogenic causation post- birth. Despite achieving an almost normal gait, physiotherapy averaging four hours a day for 52 years, intractable pain and post impairment syndrome left me wheelchair dependent. Pain control during and after two childhood surgeries was not even considered by healthcare workers despite my screaming. Children with CP grow to be adults. I was wrong in assuming PT, etc.would spare me the physical and mental trauma... and the huge hit to my bank account. Unless the Cerebral palsy patient is a millionaire, and has few comorbidities, it can leave a sufferer in bankruptcy. Cerebral palsy is as destructive as any disease in existence. The intractable pain, the post trauma impairment syndrome, and the wheelchair could have been prevented if health care "professionals" had been competent from birth to adulthood. Hopefully, the child presented in the documentary will be treated compassionately throughout life.
My younger brother who is 29 years old has cerebral palsy and migraines. He had right spastic cerebral palsy. He got physical therapy when he was 3 years old
@@DimanaSirenHead he is 31 years old and cannot walk like a normal person. He walks at about 0.9 to a maximum speed of 1.2 mph with a walker or a cane 🦯
roda ojo Get her up and standing.....bearing weight... as soon as possible. Work with her constantly. I was really relaxed with my daughter because she went through so much...26 weekend, but I regret it.
