I wish I had a video like this when I was applying. My renunciation certificate part went without a hitch, but when applying for my OCI, I had to do it twice 😭 The documents part tripped me because the drop down options didn't have all the documents they ask for in NL. And for the second appointment the next availability was 2 months later. In any case, I'm glad it's done!

Thanks for making a nice explainer video @Rashi in Amsterdam. Do you mind letting me know where on VFS website can I book an appointment for surrendering/renouncing my Indian passport? It's not very clear to me
@@rashi.in.amsterdam thanks for the response. I did this and selected the application centre. It has 4 options: Document collection, Enquiry form fill, Submission of non-VISA application and Submission of VISA application. Which once of these do you suggest choosing?

What will the previous passport number for? Will it be Indian passport #? I have 2 previous Indian passports

@@SrujanVishwanath you have to make an account on their website and login. Then you can book an appointment. I have added a link in the description 😊
