I think this is the only video on the product I've seen where it seems like the person A) spent their own money on it instead of having free product shipped to them so they could make a commercial for it, and B) used it for a good amount of time instead of just ... opening it and spending an afternoon with it. Thanks!
@RandomTeq I have a question. Did you experience any lag while using the Loupedeck Live / Razer Stream Controller? On my new device, e.g. on the Premiere Pro or Ableton Live profile, switching the set of buttons 1-7 occurs with a 1-1.5 second delay. Sometimes the reaction to the touch buttons or the knob is also with a 1-1.5 second delay. I don't know if this is the norm for this device, or I have a faulty copy (?)
I got the Razor, which is, from what I heard, essentially the same thing (same hardware and run the same software). But For some reason I cannot make custom workspaces for my own custom Profile. I also do not seem to have all the options for the base OS clicks, drags, etc. Any ideas how to fix?
Yes, I'm aware of it. I believe it's currently on sale for under 200. Try downloading the latest software to see if it fix the problem. support.loupedeck.com/5.2.1-software-is-now-out
Great video. But confused on your pricing for the Loupedeck Live S. At 4:07 it sounds like you are saying it is $269. Amazon currently has it at $189, which is only $10 more than the Stream Deck +.
You can buy the Razer version for cheaper usually Exact same product Exact same software And I prefer the dark logo over the bright white on the Loupedeck.
Just an FYI, the Elgato has updated it's plugins/marketplace and it's users are NOT happy about. All the old plugins have been removed, and now they CHARGE YOU FOR EVERYTHING! $11 for an Icon Pack for Logic Pro. $30-$40 for the plugin!! Something you get for FREE with the Loupedeck. Something you might want to factor in when looking at pricing. I worked out that all the plugins I would need to buy would cost me around $240 if I went with the stream deck!! Something that comes free with the loupedeck. Sure, I could make my own. But even the icon packs would have cost me $50!! Sure, I could make those as well, but charging people for other companies icons.... Not good...
Very interesting indeed! I think Elgato are realizing that they have no competition. To me , it sounds like they're squeezing their loyal customers for cash. Pay for plug-ins is like micro purchases in games, borderline scam and doesn't feel right, it's almost like they're holding your device hostage for additional features for a device you already paid for.

Very kind of you! Much appreciated 👏 💐
I’ve had one for a few years now and love it
Was your first? Any other similar devices before it?

Delay switching between profiles and pages, very rare, delay using the buttons, never.

Thank you so much, Wumpus...
The one priced at 189 USD is the loupedeck live S, which is the one without the buttons at the bottom.
@@RandomTeq Ah, ok. Yeah I see the difference.
I got the same response when I was first shopping for it, they seem very similar when when you're not looking closely.
