Roscoe, finally! I’ve been wanting to say something about how frustrating it is that you’re not just watching what you want to watch and saying things like - “I shouldn’t watch that”. Surf and watch what interests you. So what if it’s BU? Everyone else had their own journey and watched videos connected to the BU without even knowing that it was. You can always rewatch and connect stuff later. But don’t limit yourself. You have army here to explain if needed, but discovering things on your own is part of the journey. I’ll sit back and watch YOUR journey! It’s enjoyable - and I don’t care if your interpretation is not what others say it should be. Because it’s YOUR interpretation. It’s YOUR journey, and I’m just here to witness it. Not guide or direct it (or tell you how to react, where to pause, what to blah blah blah). You’re Army - but you’re still you!

Those of us who are not reactors didn't have anyone telling us what to watch and when. I clicked on whatever came up next in my recommendations and have watched official mvs, dance practices, live performances, fan-made vids, run BTS episodes, behind-the-scenes vignettes all without order and direction from anyone else...and, listening to the BU songs out of order didn't ruin the journey for me at all. Honestly, the fans who watch YT reactors have seen these mvs HUNDREDS of times, so they should either just sit back and enjoy YOUR ride or get off the f*ing couch.

What’s been missing is the spontaneity and joy. That’s why everyone loves Rogue Roscoe so much. Giggling, clicking Willy nilly Roscoe is fun, scared to click on anything is not fun and it’s frustrating to watch. It’s ok to tumble head first down the rabbit hole….the journey can’t be “ruined” by skipping around or ahead. In fact in honor of your new outlook I think you should go back and watch one of those live MMA shows that kind of began the hesitancy of choices….With your personality you will go looking for 3 different videos on the same topic if you want to learn more. Just have fun with it.

I think you're the first reactor I've seen who figured out the hat trick without needing to watch the dance practice first! You definitely know your trade to spot how the magic happens :) I'm glad you're following your own whims. Some people thrive on structure, but I think you're the type to have more fun overturning random rocks and seeing what's underneath.

I’ve enjoyed the journey so far. I’ve stayed away from the comments for the most part because I just don’t have the time. If I’m being real with you, Roscoe, I’ve drifted away lately. The reason - it didn’t feel authentic anymore. It felt like you were playing to an audience. So, I for one am glad that you recognize that this needs to be “organic” and you’ve taken back ownership of your BTS journey. I’m sure if people witnessed my journey, they’d be up in arms with what I watched and in what order. Guess what? I don’t care! I’ve discovered BTS the way I’ve wanted to and it has served me well.

Same here. People would be very unhappy with my journey. I went from hearing one song to my daughter showing me Run BTS. I have done all of it out of order, but it is my journey. At the end of the day we are all headed toward the same place, does it really matter how we get there?

Saaame. I first dived in to BU few weeks after being an Army. oh my gosh I was soooo lost. But I don't regret anything. I watch BTS content whatever I feel like watching. It's fun! Each person has their own journey. Even if I want Roscoe to watch some vids back to back.. still it's up to him. I'll just wait and watch.

hey roscoe, you watch whatever you want to watch...this is your journey...honestly i never went in order watching the videos like other army told me too...i did what i wanted and later on after i watch the videos thats when i went back and watch them in order for the BU content storyline and i knew what the videos and notes were already because i watch it already but i rewatch it to learn about the storyline.also pause whenever u want dont be afraid of pausing.....so you do what you want to do and like i told you on discord in voice chat we had not to long ago mix it up dont be afraid to mix it up and watch whatever you want. I am so glad my family and 2 of my friends are part of the couch crew and we are so happy to be on this journey with you. 💜💜

Fun fact: In Bulletproof Pt. 2, when the 3J dance break happens, Hobi later mentioned that he got all bloodied and bruised from his knee drop and the falling on his back moves. Talk about commitment! Go Hobi 💜
HELL YES, I LOVE THIS. Gimme all the Rogue Roscoes you have please, that's all I want. Pause anytime you want. This is TOTALLY the best way to navigate the journey - the Rogue Ros Way. Out of order, random jumping around, it really does not matter. Literally thing only thing that matters to me is you enjoying it. Hell even if you just ignore the whole BU aspect altogether and just do the music, who the hell cares. You can go back anytime to figure out the BU, or not dip into it at all if you don't feel like it, doesn't matter.
You might want to re-name this video "No More Dream & We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2 Reaction" though? Unless you want this to be a hidden gem reaction haha, that's cool too. LOL, that "tribute to hitman bang" TOTALLY COULD BE. I never even noticed the glasses looked like his hahaha.
Are people giving you crap because you like RM? He is one of the most under-appreciated members by the fandom, I'm so glad you give him the attention he deserves. BTS was built around RM, and without RM, there would be no JK and no JHope either. He's a fantastic leader, rapper and a primary songwriter/producer for BTS. He and Suga went through more shit than any of the other members. He deserves more appreciation than the fandom gives him, and I'm glad you like him.

The last 2 weeks (I think) I got the impression that you were hesitant what to watch. Maybe you didn't want to make any mistakes and it made me a little bit worried. I felt a little attacked when you said (paraphrasing) "before you start with the 'you do you' comments" because I'd just commented that. 😅😂 I have so much fun on the couch and Rogue Roscoe is the best. The joy came through on this one. 💜 editing to add that dancing while eating jello is a skill I now want to learn.
Marla! I have felt similarly when I felt like Roscoe was calling me out for a comment I had made and it stung. But, you know, that is the beauty of really feeling like we’re all in conversation about this thing we love. Perhaps you, like me, are just dipping a toe in to the raging waters of expressing heartfelt opinions on line. But the fact that Roscoe actually read what I had to say and considered it, even if he then decided to reject it, is really an act of love. He sees us! And its great that we can freely express opinions and continue on in loving relationship. It is kind of the miracle of the Couch Crew family.
When he said that part, it showed me that he knew the Couch Crew so well that he KNEW about 98% of the viewer's automatic response was going to be to quickly go to type & tell him "You do you, Roscoe!". I'm sure he loves hearing those positive words from you and everyone, every time. Here in this case though, I think he just meant,;
For us to wait a minute, before we started encouraging him (to just do him) so we'd hear what all he wanted to say that explained why he didn't just ignore criticisms or some who might've been too pushy, maybe, with their "advice".
He just wanted to 1st explain why he did pay some attention to even the critical comments & kind of negative feedback so that we'd understand how mixed he'd been feeling about this.
He wanted us to know that it's easier said than done, meaning he knows it'd be a lot easier on hm if he just ignored anything negative in comments, but it's a lot harder to actually do & him not worry if someone else may be right, possibly, with a criticism or something negative, ir advice. So he felt he had to read and process those comments, That's gotta be tough on any channel host/owner. Then it's tough for all he reads to not affect him in some way.
He knew the encouragement was coming, immediately, from all the Crew, like you, who he KNEW would send him loving words right away, right then. That right there is a real testament to how great you all are at supporting him, all the time. Remember that. It's wonderful that he knew most everyoe would tell him to just do him, rght ?
This is a true and genuine reaction channel and I truly admire you for that. Just be yourself and we love you for that.

BTS has content up the wazoo, there is so much to discover and what is exciting is when you discover a gem you never knew you needed. I understand people can get overly excited to guide you and direct you through the journey they took but then it really isn't a genuine or authentic journey of discovery. I personally love rogue Roscoe. You have a lot of wonderful crew riding this couch that just want to enjoy the fun and excitement you have discovery these wonderful young men. I tell you though a more chaotic journey is refreshing for a change so do you, 100 % and I wil sit here and pass the choco pies, kit kats and popcorn and enjoy. 💜💜💜

THANK GOD. FINALLY. I was seriously contemplating sending you a DM telling you just that. go on your own Journey. Stop letting GATE KEEPING ARMY tell you how to BTS. Also watch the music videos in the BU. These are some of the prettiest videos and best songs of BTS. You can enjoy those videos without getting into the storyline. after all most if us did.
I'm glad you really felt both songs (NMD is their debut song and We Are Bulletproof PT 2 is their second song). Many other reactors watch these two videos with the BTS of now as their point of comparison and sometimes they laugh at the styles or dismiss the songs as not as good as their recent stuff, but if you watch the videos without considering what they've accomplished and how much they've grown since, you can appreciate the raw talent, hunger, and trademark sincerity that was there since day 1. Your excitement level brings back memories of when I saw this two videos in 2013. Even without the big budgets it was obvious that these guys had something.

I am beyond happy that you love their early music. It’s the BTS I first fell in love with. Right from the beginning they were addressing social issues. They were and still are so unique. They said things that Korean kids and kids in general were feeling but in Korea societal pressures really didn’t give them an outlet until BTS came along.
Do this journey your way - the way we all discover BTS is different. No way is the right way - don’t feel you have to limit yourself. If you want to watch BU videos - watch them. Enjoy them at face value and when or if you decide to delve into the BU you can always go back and re-watch with a new mindset. Enjoy your journey. I get so much enjoyment from just watching you having a blast. Rogue Roscoe is a good Roscoe. 💜💜
I agree with your comment when the video first started about Suga being the appropriate person to jump over the fence in confrontation. Suga is my boo - he doesn’t hold anything back but is the first one to offer help and advice. He has a hard exterior but is super soft on the inside. When he jumps over the fence I feel like it’s him saying back off but if you want to fight, come at me but don’t touch my band members.

When I first got into BTS I started with Fake Love, DNA and Mic Drop. Then I decided to go back to their debut year to watch everything from the beginning without knowing the BU. I still had a great time because I got to see their growth as artists. Then I found out about BU and went back to watch all the BU mvs and videos and notes, it was another experience.
You can do whatever you want and however you want, no need to stress yourself out.
⚠️ Warning ⚠️ be careful with comeback stages from Korean music shows, a lot of reactors got strikes from reacting to them. Some reactors will blur the logos out or video, and works. I am not a TH-camr, so I am not very familiar with these stuffs, just a friendly warning.

I know this feels like you're taking a sip from a firehose! The fact is, the genius of BTS is that it rewards repeat listens/views, often in different orders, different venues, with different ways.
I mean, you can watch the Skywalker Saga as 4,5,6,1,2,3,7,8,9 or you can go 1-9, or only 4,5,6 - you get my drift.
Part of the joy is seeing what you gravitate to and hearing what you think. It doesn't have to be academic or even deep, at least not every time.
I think part of what can be lonely about this road is that understanding the words and appreciating the journey takes some effort. It's rewarding, but it's not for everyone. I think this is why we love finding these pocket universes to hang out and greet each other.

My favorite part about your journey is how genuine and organic it is. Like you mentioned, when you have watched other reactors, it's just eh. You can tell when someone else manufactures reactions for views. But yours have always sincerely felt like watching a friend discover and enjoy BTS. I know we all say it often, but keep doing you!!! And with that, watch any music video you want to. Seriously. I think when most people say you are not ready for BU, they mean diving in from the start and the amount of content that it is. Watch the music videos! You won't know whats going on, but it also won't spoil anything. Without the books, webtoons, etc. they are just aesthetically pleasing cinamatic music videos to some INCREDIBLE songs.
PS: whenever you're ready, I can't wait for you to start getting into run, in the soop, bon voyage, etc. Those are going to be SO FUN to watch with you. The element of surprise is always good Roscoe. Don't worry about putting mvs on hold because it's part of the BU. Watch whatever catches your eye or interest. Most ARMY watched the mvs as they were released, not knowing that it was part of another story line. Later on, we found out about the BU & ended up rewatching the videos to connect the story together. You're missing out on great songs/videos because of the "Roscoe, do not enter" barrier that others have put up. It's YOUR journey, not someone else's. Fighting!!!

I can tell how my BTS journey was: I considered myself a new army, since they found me in 2019. I started my journey following TH-cam and Instagram recommendations. I learned some things the hard way, like the existence of BU, and of course that made me think that some videos didn’t make much sense at first, but I still enjoyed them for the cinematography, the visuals, the boys themselves (and I still haven’t jumped in the BU rabbit hole, I don’t know if I’ll ever do it and that doesn’t make me a grade b fan, I think). I didn’t watch Run BTS in order, I just found the episodes that picked my interest after a clip or something, still haven’t watched them all. I don’t rush it. I like to know that I have a big pile of good stuff to watch. Did the same with Bon Voyage, saw seasons without following the order and still haven’t watched the Hawaii season. I’m saving it.
So, do it whatever you want, just know that some things may have layers and that you can come back for the deeper ones later.
About that dance brake in the end of Bullet Proof: can you believe that they used to do this live on tv shows? All of it: Hobi’s dance and drop, Jimin’s jump an JK’s hat trick. 🤯🤯🤯
