A Christian disciple, 68 years old ... homeless for 12 weeks now, living in my truck with sleeping bag, after "Christian" wife tossed me out of the house on Labor Day ... Still living righteously, tithing my social security, praying and Bible reading every day ... I am NOT A Prosperity Gospel heretic ... But STILL ... Why is Christ appearing to wreck this great pain and hardship in my life? I ask Him to end my life at least once a week ... I have been a very good Christian Husband ... and THIS is the Divine Torture that I get? Psalms 31, 77, 88 ???? God appears uncaring and silent ... WHAT IS GOING ON ??????
Unless your faith is tested it cannot be proven true. God is teaching you how to trust him in this exceedingly difficult season. He has many of us in this season. You are not the first & you won’t be the last. James 1:2-4 NKJV. My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

In the moment things seem confusing and turbulent, but faith sees you through to the calm end. As the disciples ran about the boat thinking they were going to drown, Yeshua slept. Why? Because he had faith. Who did he heal mostly? Those who had faith. One of the deeper truths of the Bible is where it says pray in faith as if you have received your prayer already. Learning this cured me of several "permanent" debilitating conditions that medicines couldn't. Just make sure when you make it out of the rough patch, that you look back at the bigger picture of why it happened. You will always find the answer in the Lord. His plans supersede our wisdom and our plans, no matter how right we think we are.
