- Should you get a dog in your life? How does having a dog change your life? If you love dogs, these are the questions you might have asked yourself. This clip will help you find more about what it is like to own a dog.
To be honest, I was never the one to even think about getting a dog. Although I love all kinds of animals, my favorite being cats, the thought of having a life with a dog never came across my mind.
But because of certain incidents which I will explain later in my future clip, I've decided to adopt a Pekingese which I named Milk. To my surprise, this little furry creature made my days immensely rich and fluffy like never before.
I don't think I will ever regret bringing him into my life, ever. How about you? If a cat lover like me has been turned into a dog lover, will you stand a chance against a cute fluffy puppy that follows you around wherever you go? :)

I lost my muffin who was a white pekingese 4 weeks ago, he was 13. I miss him so much. He used to love cheese and he used to come to me every morning as I woke up to ask for cheese and did his little doggo plaything he stood on two legs and joined his front paws and kept barking until I gave him, every single day. We always used to joke in our house that muffin eats all the cheese and there is none left for us. (Sometimes my father and brother gave him extra cheese)
Just yesterday, when I opened the fridge and saw the compartment full of cheese, it hit me and it hurt so much. I'd rather have my muffin back than cheese. I love you muffin, I hope you rest in peace. I hope that you're alright wherever you are and remember that you family will always love you. 😭😭😭
Condolences to you for losing your dear little Muffin. We lost Ruby Lu (a white Pekingese) on 01/08/24. We miss her terribly. She also loved morning cheese. We would say, "Cheese, Please," and she would go crazy at the fridge!

Yes!! Now she is 1year old..i love my pekenges.. She is sweet. She will eat vegetable like beans carrots..liver chicken.. I mix to her dog food! & she also have vitamin in her eyes..

They are amazing pets with alot of personality. The Lion dog are guard dogs and extremely brave to a fault.

I have a peke myself who looks like yours but female. She’s a bit standoffish but is also very affectionate and has a big heart and personality. She’s probably one of the sweetest dogs I ever had

We lost our second pekingese just two months ago. Maddy lived for 18yrs and 9mos. He was a bundle of contradictions, he could be loving, aloof, lazy, excitable, you name it. I will say that pekes make great watch dogs. Unlike most small dogs, a peke bark will wake the dead and from the other side of a locked door they sound like a very big dog. Our peke was 18 when I took him out one night at our new house for his last potty of the night. I normally let him wander the backyard to make sure he was fully empty. I was watching my phone when I suddenly heard a very VERY unfriendly growl from him and I looked up and he was stiff and every muscle was tense like he was ready to pounce. I followed his gaze and saw a fox about 10feet way in the dark. Maddy gave a deep growl again, jumped forward about a foot and let off with a full throated bark, that fox was gone before he was done barking. I picked Maddy up before he gave chase. Even in his old age he had the heart of lion.
Yes. Having a pet is like being a parent to a child.
This is why people call themselves fur parents to their fur babies.

Plus being responsible for another life has a way of putting things into perspective as in life isn’t just about you (not you in general).
It’s about the people or animals we share our lives with.
my pup kaya she is mostly white she is a mix with pom but i saw all white the pekingese of my cousin daniel RIP his pekingese was white (im saying rip since he died few years ago from depression i dont wanna share but i think u get me )

Oh hey, first of all, congrats on becoming one of us! ;) Also, dogs and cats do get along especially when they've been raised together at a young age. But they don't communicate well with each other. So, I'd rather recommend getting two puppies if you can handle them both. They are a commitment though. On the other hand, if your time is limited for both of them, getting a cat does help, although not as much as a dog would. And cats don't need your time and money as much as dogs. So... Up to you to decide!
we adopted a 6 yr. old Peke, last year at 18 yrs. old, he went over the Rainbow Bridge and I miss him so much. Peke's personalities are wonderful. They are so comical at times.

My very first dog was a white pekingnese just like this one. We got him in 1963 or 1964. My father named him Frosty. This brings back nostalgia.
From the name Frosty, I assume he was a white peke? Frosty must be playing and rolling on the clouds from above. Also wagging his tail like crazy cuz you still remember him! ❤

I had one of these beauties and I got her when she was 11 she passed away about three weeks ago when she turned 14, I had Paris for 3 years and I swear hands down the best kind of dog I’ve ever owned, her little bark, her personality, her sassy ness and the way she loved eating 😭💞
I grew up with a Peke. I had him from 1998 to 2013. I was 9 when we got him. I haven't gotten another dog since which means that I still think about him from time to time and still miss him. He would "guard" us as well. Though he couldn't physically take on an intruder he would alert the whole house.
I lost mine yesterday after 13 years. I also got him when I was 9 years old. He was the best dog I could ask for.

I started crying to this because my family had a pekingese that passed away just before 2019. It was Female and her name was Gidget and she died at the age of 11 just a few months after our Rottweiler Kira who passed away at 15

My Katy just turned 15.. I'm holding my breath as she was just diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Also a white Pekingese my 3rd... the best friend you could ask for. I find her snoring at night so comforting that I don't think I'll ever be able to sleep in the silence. I love her with all my heart

Your dog looks exactly like my girl, until he rolls over… then I can tell the difference lol. Other than that, they are identical I have a female peke who does all the exact same things you just described. Your dog is adorable.
I’m getting a Peke next weekend. I can’t wait! I’m getting a multicolored female and naming her Mika. I love how Mika has meaning in several cultures and is cute. In Native American it means, “wise little raccoon,” which I think fits her, she kinda has that dark coloring around her face a bit. She’s very fluffy and cute too. 😆
Beautiful story!! Peke's sure have a unique personality that would make you fall in love with them. We have a pekingese and he's 3 yrs old now. My hubby is not a dog person but everything change when our furbaby Rocky arrived. He brings so much joy and laughter to our family! And he's like a baby - doesnt want to be left alone, would love to join us - ride car and go out! :)

Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans
. The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.
If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. It's not about following the law - perfectly, as it's impossible - it's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction).
He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.
NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER

Yes pekingese.. Verry sweet & loving.... ..I have one .. The owner is my daughter... She buy.. Then she is coming home.. 2months. I will care.. Some times she is funny. Now she is 9months
Absolute pure joy! I recently lost my little Ruby Lu (white Pekingese)- she would have been 18 had she lived 3 weeks longer. She was worn out and ready to go the day we took her to the vet to bid her goodbye. We miss her terribly but know she is with her brother, Chan Li, who passed 02/17/16. I hope you have many, many years of love and happiness with your sweet little fella! He is such a little prince!
I Love Milk and CoCo. They are Beautiful Sweet and Nutritious for the Heart and your Soul. Milk reminds me so if my sweet Maltese that I had for 15 years. Feisty Fun Loving. I did all I could to spend more and more time with him on Walks and time around the house. He filled my Heart more than anyone I have ever known. A Dog an do that, better than any spouse or child.My Dog was dear and special, your family and your friend, and always Loving. Enjoy each other, Milk is truly precious .

Yes, Pekingese are so special....I have a seven month old cream & white girl named Sushi. She is so smart - she keeps me on my toes. Love hearing about Milk. Maybe we could have puppies from Sushi & Milk. (Just kidding😜)

I had a peke for 16 years :) Given their short legs and long frame it is best to avoid stairs cases, especially going down. When he was senior I carried him. He used to love hard boiled eggs (good for shiny coal). I miss my baby so much.

그러게요. 강아지를 키우기 전까지는 저밖에 몰랐는데... 아직 제 아기는 없지만 강아지가 생기고 나니 저만 바라보는 이 녀석에 대한 책임감이 상당히 커지네요. 매일매일 좋은거 먹이고 재미나게 지내고 피곤에 지쳐 꿀잠 자게 해주고 싶은데 아직 그만큼 시간의 여유가 되지 않네요. 아쉽고 미안한 마음도 듭니다. 얼른 성공해야겠어요!! 👍😗

Friend dash me a poppy. He looks exactly like yours..I know my poppy is not pure pekines. But I do not care..I found a beautiful friend in him .He is so pretty , I absolutely in love...I live in a house. And we always had and have guard dogs. We have cane corso, he is really huge, Boerboel..They are very nice dogs..When they are small , I nurse all of them...But then , as they grow , my husband does not allow them in....But this tiny one he allowed. So I was very happy. 😊
Pekingese dogs are very special!! I have had the privilege of raising and even rescuing many. They have all been wonderful companions.

I've had Pekingese in my life since I was 12, and I'll be 48 this upcoming June. Let me just tell you that most of the very best friends I have ever had had 4 furry feet!!! PS, one of my little girls is due any day with 2 pups!

My Pixy was 18 years old when she died. She had a flat face with respiratory problems. She was twice tubed in ICU and survived. I always said she has more than 9 lives. A day before Christmas day when I was visiting my parents in another state her babysistter phoned me to tell me that she found her outside and she is breathing funny. I thought it was a heatstroke and asked her to record her. I just knew that this will be the last. She had 4 strokes and died. My biggest wish for me was to be there for her but I was not able. This has been 3 months and I am still struggling. I wish I could have been there for her and just hold her and speak to her before she crossed the bridge. I feel guilty for not being there for her. We had a onnection which no one can ever understand.
Thank you for your terrific video, I have two Pekingese brothers same parents, 1year apart Alex is all white and Andes is white except for his face is black, white, and brown. They are my fur babies, and are Excellent guard dogs l love them both. Pekingese rarely get the recognition they deserve. Your fur baby is awesome ♥️
He is definitely displaying watch dog tendancies and it's common for the breed. They were bred as companions for royalty and the very wealthy, part of that was being trained to sound the alarm to danger and anything suspicious.

Kitty's are somewhat of a hazard to dogs with no nose. If they fight the kitty will damage the dogs eyes very easily.
