    Check out Tim Dyck he makes nice axes. He has a couple upsetters that he reworked the tooling for and he can make an axe in like 3 presses.

      thats a bit more like factory production (grandfors brucks) than blacksmithed to me though, I like this setup...looks really good and makes a nice axe in a traditional manner.

    i watch Tim Dyck's channel too, and he's recently tooled his enormous press with preset deformation jigs for his axes as well. This is what I thought you were going to do with that jig last video.

    Good effort for a first try. Could you adapt the die to fit in your press? Just a suggestion, I’m sure it won’t be long and you’ll have mastered how to do it for the best result. Regards from Down Under.
