Very good video, but I recommend changing your profile picture to your face or something like that, because now it looks like you are one of those text-to-speech reddit channels
I really liked this video. As I've come to be more convinced of determinism within the past year or two I've thought a lot about how merit seems to be something that one has effectively no control over. Those who lack merit will simply continue on as the have been until some event influences them to adopt a better mindset or skills from which to gain merit, if they're fortunate enough to even have that event occur.
I feel no emotion when watching sports, it has always been impossible for me to feel anything at all when watching it. Or I did develop feelings of dislike and hate. I don’t think you can decide what to like or not…
I like your show, but 'body count' seems very thin philosophical gruel. This person seems to have a very low idea of philosophy. "What have philosophers spoke about underarm hair?" I don't know; I don't care

Thanks so much! And that's really good advice, I appreciate it.

Merit is just how other people precive you, and you have control over how you present yourself
Thank you! I think discrimination based on "merit" is a really fascinating topic.
Every aspect of human culture is socially constructed and for a good reason.
Agreed! Just because we call something "socially constructed," that doesn't mean its bad.

I think I agree... or at least I haven't come across a convincing argument that says otherwise.
Yeah socially constructed by you sleeping around

Thanks! I hear you man... and what topics would you find interesting?
So what is your work, really?
As in... my background?
