I remember watching the first chap, Calum, & being really impressed. I was also really impressed by the fact that his sister could be so happy for him despite her disappointment. She may not have been picked for the show but she showed her character in how she supported her brother.

I've watched Calum's audition a thousand times & I'll watch it many of thousands of times more! It's the most beautiful, emotional, and perfect audition I've ever seen! I still get goosebumps every time I watch it as if it's the very first time I've heard it all over again! ❤

TBF she has had her moment many times. If you search her on TH-cam, she has sung this song live on stage A LOT before this. She even performed this with David Foster.
People get mad often when told that looks are extremely important, yet Loren had tons of exposure but it didn't amount to much. When Lady Gaga appeared with her true face, her album sales sank faster than the Titanic in the Atlantic. Let's just face it. Ugly people live a much more difficult life.

One thing this proves is that Simon has a very good eye for talent! He was behind all these stars as they rose to success. Great to watch where they all started again!
Except Jennifer Hudson. Simon failed to recognize the genius in her.
Most importantly, he supported them financially. Other can sound nice on tv, but they do nothing for these people.

The way Calum looks at his sis for support and validation and a share of the moment is quite a wonderful insight into their relationship.
I remember seeing the audition of James Arthur, and being so touched. I had to rewatch it at least 10 times and I thought he must win this show. The authenticity is 100%

Susan Boyle's audition was the first time ever hearing about BGT. I remember watching all of these for the first time and love them all. I hate to say it, but Susan was, and in my opinion, still is the biggest shock of all. So unexpected and so very amazing! Susan's audition is the only on that gives me goosebumps every single time I watch it.
James Arthur is the standout in all these auditions. I seen him in concert last year and it was perfect show.

Calum Scott's audition always makes me smile. He's so adorable and humble. God bless him AND his sister! Susan Boyle's audition always cheers me up on days I need a boost. She had everything going against her from the outset, the audience really was against her. So well done to her and she deserves everything good in life.

Close your eyes and listen to her side by side with professional west-end/opera singers. They built her up to be a surprise, sure.. but in her field she is not a stand out performer.
Loren Allred’s audition is heavenly, you can hear the satisfaction in her voice and the saddest of not receiving enough recognition when her voice broke when she was saying “The Greatest Showman”

I've watched Susan Boyles' audition countless times and it always always brings me to tears. I'm stunned that she was ridiculed the minute she stepped on the stage. So brave but sadly she obviously had lots of practice with being bullied and she just kept going. '' Never been given the chance". Until she was. The whole world is grateful for such a perfect voice.
