I got the same info from Mantis a while back, just never updated this one with their reply. Haven't used the remote for anything yet, apparently it just comes with the tripod's they buy.

I thought I had it added as the End Screen also, I'll go back and verify and try and make it a bit easier to find. I need an excuse to do a video that isn't about chickens, so I'll work on getting a more detailed review up soon.
@@TwoAcreHomestead Thanks. As a fairly newbie to guns, the review from a person not in the industry is really important to me. I get 1/2 dozen gun mags and have learned they love everything. Reviews are pretty useless. On TH-cam, the pros either love a gun line or hate it. So their reviews are biased. So I appreciate your reviews of training tools and anything gun related. Thx. Rich.
@@rwerhle Glad to help. I realized the same thing a while ago. Seems the more subscribers a reviewer has the more they are influenced by the people supplying the product. With only 600 subscribers, no one is sending me free stuff to review, so even tho my videos might not be the best quality, I have no reason to talk up a product that sucks :)

Strikeman, which I also bought with my own money, and returned for a refund, comes with single circle, and their app sucks. I'd strongly recommend the Mantis system. Any questions that you haven'y already found the answers for, just hit me up.
Strikeman has the worst customer service. Placed my order on 1/29/2024 today is 2/13/2024 and still haven’t received it. They don’t answer emails there is no phone number to speak with a representative. Can’t order replacement targets. Returning the Strikeman as soon as soon as I receive it. Mantis great customer service. Placed my order on 2/12/2024 and shipped out the next day.
i just got the strikeman recently and was having the same issues as you with the laser staying on with the 556. i saw your review on it and just watched this one and will be ordering the mantis , did you have any issues with the 556 like the strikeman
I am pretty sure 556 or AR-15 style firearms will all stay on after the trigger is pulled due to the way the firearm works. Mantis does have a 556 system, but I have not used it. So far I have only used the Mantis on 380 and 9 mm firearms
OK, the Mantis AR system is so you don't have to use the charging handle after each shot. Its been a while since I looked at their website. The remote is so you can take pictures remotely. It pairs with your phone.

Prefer Strikeman. Listing my pr's and ability to create training templates makes more sense to me.

My tripod expanded if you twisted it to about 50 in tall

For me it was the PAK-9 that had the issue of the laser staying on after the trigger was pulled, but as this is an AK style that's to be expected
