I saw a video clip that Dimash found out he was going to meet Jackie Chan and being in China by himself, he was frantically calling his parents for he had nothing on hand to give to Jackie as present. With the help of his parents connected with Kazakh ex-pat in China, they were able to obtain the traditional Kazakh coat that Dimash gave to Jackie. I know on one of the episodes of Singer 2017, they show when Dimash first met Jackie Chan. He was so star-struck and nervous like a schoolgirl. So cute. Dimash and Terry have been friends since the Singer comp. I believe it was a year after this that Terry invited Dimash to his Birthday Concert but Dimash had a full day of celebratory events he had to attend back home in Kazakhstan. To Terry’s surprise Dimash flew over that night to attend and perform with Terry and he was over the moon. Terry returned in kind on Dimash’s next Birthday and flew to Kazakhstan and presented him with a birthday cake at his recording studio. Dimash has performed two sound tracks for Jackie Chan movies. They have kept in touch since, and see each other as often as they can, and make an extra effort to be with each other for their birthdays--or as close to the dates as they can. Terry is an amazing singer from Taiwan and Dimash calls him Lin Papa because they developed a kind of father son relationship during The Singer. At 22 Dimash was the youngest contestant ever on the show - the baby and Terry - even though he definitely does not look like it - was already in his 50s during the show and actually easily could have a son in Dimash's age. Their friendship was heartwarming to watch. After the show Terry invited Dimash to sing at his concert in China and Terry as well performed at Dimash's first solo concert in Kakhstan. Terry has a stunning voice himself, very gentle but strong. His performances at The Singer are a real treat.

Having discovered Dimash on the second installment of 'Singer' 2017, I saw Dimash and Terry Kline become fast and dedicated friends. Dimash had indicated during the show the Singer that he believed that Terry Lin would sing this song well. The discussion was filmed and I loved seeing that there conversation came to fruition. Sometimes it yeast to forget that this song was Dimash’s own composition and that he can do whatever he wants with it - he can play, adjust, adapt everything including the language and how it is performed. Like Dimash, Unforgettable Day is a living, breathing example of growth and development and you can hear the pride in Dimash’s voice as he congratulates Terry Lin after the first verse he sings! ❗ALONE AT CHRISTMAS ! Finding out, at the last minute, that Terry was going to be alone on Christmas Day, Dimash literally ran out of the house and caught the next flight to China. Calling a mutual friend to go to Terry's house and make sure to keep him there, she filmed the small knock on the door and Dimash's face around the door, throwing it open yelling Merry Christmas! he bounded through scooping Terry into a bear hug swinging him around, a priceless look of shock on Terry's face ! Having discovered Dimash on the second installment of 'Singer' 2017, I saw Dimash and Terry Kline become fast and dedicated friends. This is not the first time Dimash has dropped in and joined Terry , on stage at one of Terry's concerts. They have a blast singing together and Dimash has always held Terry in high esteem . Aren't they great!!!!????

Terry Lin was on The Singer when Dimash was a contestant & they became good friends. Dimash calls him Papa Lin & when Terry did a concert not long after Singer, he invited Dimash to sing with him on it. Dimash had an event very, very close to Terry's concert, but he flew straight out to China to appear with Terry. Terry didn't know he'd arrived until Dimash walked on stage.

Dimash had indicated during the show the Singer that he believed that Terry Lin would sing this song well. The discussion was filmed and I loved seeing that there conversation came to fruition. Sometimes it yeast to forget that this song was Dimash’s own composition and that he can do whatever he wants with it - he can play, adjust, adapt everything including the language and how it is performed.
