Regarding your question, yes my friend it will work without any issue, 100% compatible 1TB
I have a 745 g3 and when i opened blup the back there was no caddy or harddrive. Is this normal?
🫠Regarding your question, that is not normal at all, never had that happened to any of my clients nor ever heard about the caddy missing.
did you buy it new?, or it was a resold. renewed?

@@uFixTek thank you for the quick reply. It was actually my dads work laptop. I asked him about it and he said he had never opened the back of it before. So I have no idea, his company gave it to him back in 2017 I believe.
there the technician probably took it out. check on aliexpress for the adapter and caddy

Regarding your question, i would highly not recommend it because we have tested many external GPU and they are failed and give very very low FPS and or crashes. don't waist money on the external GPU for this model, you won't like it.

oh sorry but you won't be able to play GTA 5 on this poor laptop, you need something with a good GPU.
look for a laptop with Nvidia GPU.

My friend it's a G2 hp 745. but the method of replacing the SSD its the same for this and all the 745 series.
when i remove the battery @2:40 you can see the model on the bottom right under the battery :
