I've listened like 10 times ina row, after hearing it first time WTF this goes too hard for a a group of kids to have made..... not offense like blown away by the talent
The song was created by two groups of young people who attend youth centres in Cork and Lisdoonvarna Co Clare in Ireland. The main facilitator and producer is a youthworker and Producer/MC called Gary McCarthy aka GMC Beats. The kids are a mix of kids from Irish backrounds and kids living in refugee accomodation centres in Cork and Clare. Some of the accents sound very varied because some of the young people involved come from (or their parents come from) various countries around Europe, The Middle East, Asia, and Africa. The Kabin in Cork city has been working with kids through music for a long time with Gary leading it and recently the kids from that project linked up with kids living in direct provision centres (refugee accomodation centres) in County Clare and made some music together as part of an exchange programme. It's a really cook initiative.

Dude. I just found this song and watched it 3 times in a row...then came here and had so much fun watching you find it. My heart feels joyful man! These kids and this song! Dayum!
I used to go to “unders” in Scotland (UK) growing up. They were underage clubs (with supervision generally by “cool kids” that were 17/18). Obviously no alcohol was sold, but otherwise it was just exactly like a club - they were held in actual nightclubs between 7pm-10pm before the actual/adult club would open. Thinking back, the concept of this now is wild to me 😂
my daughter asked me to put it on in the car, 10 seconds later I've cranked the volume right up and my head is beat nodding hard. This is a great fun song and i hope something good for the kids comes from it.

I've been to a bunch of places overseas, and Ireland is, by far, my favorite. They were clamoring in the 1800's and half of the 20th century to come here for obvious reasons, but this country is a true gem that could see a surge in immigration once people get wind of how amazing it is. Part of me hopes that doesn't happen because every small town has and keeps its charm by staying OG Irish.
@mattblasing5672 it is a gem ,and no issue with imigriation once it is a right, but in the last 4 years the amount of uncontrolled unchecked illegal migrants is shocking, to say the least,..and all living free in hotels, homes, all over some small towns have lost onky hotels, weddings ,funerals mo longer able occur..Cannot get hospital, doctor, or dentist appointments ,we have over 16k Irish homeless and getting longer as these skipping the queue..on top of legal migration over 3k Indians per month alone, 150k Ukraines, and other asylum seekers..you would be shocked if saw it now 25% non Irish in our population for a country soo small, so young Independent from colonisation just over 100 years ...
