I always wondered about Leicester City winning the Premier league, I think they were 10000/1 at the beginning of the season. So some fans may have put down £100 and become millionaires at the end of that final points win. I think at that point you should stop supporting your team, maybe Mr. King is trying to get a little wedge for retirement...but knowing a result in any sports event is a tough temptation to overcome... I wonder if just stop oil had money on the match they interrupted...but they were rich kids anyway. If we elected snooker players to public office I'd support Mark Williams.
I can't understand how people can become millionaires from 10000/1 odds for Leicester to win the league. Those odds were never made available so why would anyone say publicly they were? His ban ends in October.
@@simonmitchell60 when does king's ban end?
@@stevieM-hv1id “The suspension will remain in place until the conclusion of the investigation or any subsequent charges that may or may not be brought."
@@simonmitchell60 yes i know this just wondering why it is taking so long to come to any conclusions, i say and alwaysd will say innocent until proven guilty
The snooker governing body was alerted to this particular match by irregular betting patterns. One has to assume that this match would otherwise have gone totally unnoticed(?) 🤔
That's exactly what happens, irregular, but very lucrative betting patterns when all added up, bookies know instinctively when they're being robbed, because they're so very good at that themselves 😉
No way. I thought Mark was a good guy.
Think the odds were 5000/1 and the highest individual bet was £50. The dude cashed out with a few weeks to go for £72,000. Still not bad though!
I can't understand how people can become millionaires from 10000/1 odds for Leicester to win the league. Those odds were never made available so why would anyone say publicly they were? I feel so sorry for your family knowing you write things like this publicly. Imagine what your like at home it's heartbreaking. Thoughts are with your poor family.
@@mycore3557 I can take the criticism, I did though disclaimer the 10000/1 by saying 'I think' the odds were that high, and that information was a talking point I heard from someone else at the time so if it's untrue I apologise. However, you then go on to feel sorry for my family and question my misspelled life at home and claiming to have compassion disguised an oversimplified patronisation. I have investigated your channel and you have absolutely no content, I can imagine why.
Everyone has a line in the sand, a boundary set that no one should cross and to show you where my line is I'd have to be born on a beach. The word 'beach' by some cosmic coincidence being two letters different from the word I would use to describe my mother. You showing a condemnation of my character based on such a trivial assumption and then extending your good will to my racist angry father, my self-indulgent mother or my idiotic jock bully of a brother makes you indeed a person of questionable morals.
Oh and by the way: I googled it... Below is what you could have commented had you been...human...
@mycorp I think your mistaken, a £200 bet would have made them a millionaire in some markets. I read this on Google:
5,000-1 odds
Leicester City were the surprise of the season. Following their late escape from relegation in the previous season many pundits had predicted that they would be relegated and bookmakers gave 5,000-1 odds on them winning the title.
Happy? Or does your day revolve around uselessly replying to comments in a spiteful, uneducated manner?
@@mycore3557yes they were made public,5000 to 1
Nobody wants to fact-check anymore. It was 5000/1....oh my days @mycore3557
Why is he taking the place of many others who deserve a chance
In fairness Mark King has always been awful. His highest ever break is 6.
Weird how long it's taking to get a ruling. This happened a year ago and no decision made. Strange.
The whole thing is nonsense when you simply can't determine if a player intentionally misses just because he takes a few bets on himself.
It's just sad...... He won a tournament . If it is true that he cheated. .. I thought he'd be better than that. I hope it isn't true
That red he missed over the middle😂missed by a foot Fof s pro jesus gives it away
That’s a clear sign of match fixing missed to Many sitters ☝🏽
Sad sad times. Winning is never enough
The guy was probably in a load of debt and the temptation was there. These guys get paid fa for playing snooker professionally unless they get far in tournaments. Look at the bags under his eyes, looks stressed.
Still shouldn't have done it but he probably had his reasons.
Very few snooker players had access to a private snooker table, the majority learned to play in seedy billiard halls where cheating and gambling was rampant it’s not a squeaky clean game
Looked a bit suspicious 🤔
Any update how long he will be banned for this is a year ago . Suspended pending an enquiry? How long does it take lol. Personally there shld be no way bk for him . He was a bang average player anyway .
I heard he was doing lines of Chop
I don't see anything wrong here. Just missed shots
badly missed shots and irregular betting
To be fair, he’s not been very good since Level 42 split up.
Stephen less was much better at missing he could hit the jaws of the pockets with laser procession
Ted Wilkes and Peter de Courcey anyone?
John Higgins gave him tips.
Almost as bad as me
He only looks suspicious because he is playing Perry, who is shite
Stephen lee, Its my time to shine..
Wonder what odds he got
Yet we have on video john Higgins with his manager sat there ,asking how he can launder the money for throw ing a match ,can i buy a villa in Portugal he says ,,6 month ban because hes a golden boy 😮
No, a 6 month ban for bringing the game into disrepute. If you discuss the possibility of assaulting someone or robbing a bank, will you be convicted of assault or bank robbery? I think you know the answer to that!
Higgins did not, at any point, actually fix the outcome of a match, therefore he is not guilty of match fixing.
Your narrative is both tired and unintelligent, based on nothing more than simplistic emotion!
Shauncorless8965 get ur facts right m8ty before you throw false alligations around🤡
@@darrensmith4279 I've seen the video and recording cheq out for yourself ,

Shocking, no way he should be missing all of them shots, thrre is some skullduggery going on here ,I hope iam wrong , snooker players in general are honest ,
Back to playing Bass
Banned for missing shots? Some mention of gambling, but nothing about that expounded on.
Playing at a higher level and running a family is harder for them..
They can do scandal time to time.. it's ok as they have family.
Even I have missed those shots so many times but I have never been banned from snooker tournament.
Wait till the triads develop a taste for snooker 😅
You're kidding, right?
If he bet on himself to WIN, then it's pretty obvious he'd be pissed at missing a shot. Dummy.
