I wish all these beautiful souls can just steer clear of politics and rise above all the shenanigans. Might of been heard as Judith Katrijinje along with her brother's band 'Total Touch'. Note: the singer here has dark hair. On her albums appear as a Blond
Wow! I thought Dionne Warwick was the only one who could do justice to Burt Bacharach until I heard this! This is the best interpretation of his work I've heard yet!
"Walk on By" is my most favorite second song in the world. Unfortunately, coming out of the bridge, she didn't caress the notes and at least two instances where she strained for the notes and they got a tiny bit shredded. I think she got better. Her rendition of the "Look of Love" at a later date is THE best performance of the song ever. Ever.
Not wishing to compare unfairly but no female singer ever interpreted Burt Bacharach's early music like Dionne Warwick did..... everyone else came second and beyond.
She does have a great voice for the "Dionne Warwick" type interpretations but she could be even better than this. It sounds as though her breath control and (the opera singer's term) "support" from the diaphragm need to be worked on. Another viewer commented on some big notes being "shredded"- this is a classic sign of breath control not being quite right.
She lacks the style, the jive. Very forced interpretation of Bacharach music. It is like Dion or Streisand trying to sing this music. It simply is forced, could be the orchestra.
Unfortunately her 'falsetto' lets her down,... as does her pronunciation of SOME of the English words in the lyrics....... her main singing voice however is beautiful.

She does get better- Not sure this(concert) date. but in a 2009 Concert she perfected 'Look of Love'.
