      Ramjet94 Dolph Lundgren was 27 years old at the time and was just getting into acting at the time. Lundgren was a bouncer at a club and working as a body guard for Grace jones when started dating, she helped him a small part in A View To A Kill as Venz the KGB agent. He then auditioned for the part of Ivan Drago in Rocky 4 and was selected by Stallone himself after many other actors were either considered or offered the role.

    This is the second time in as many films that Gogol has had to deal with a renegade Comrade.
    Also, how do you think he would have reacted if Zorin said this after he made his "no one ever leaves the KGB" speech?
    "Well, how about Scaramanga? He left the KGB."

      And also Bowie had been living at the east and west crossroads in Berlin so the whole premise of the Soviet agent who defects and becomes a capitalist is right up his alley.

    Did Sly Stallone watch this scene when he was looking for an opponent for Rocky 4 ????

    • @jackmorgan3826
      @jackmorgan3826 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This movie came out the same year rocky 4 came out 1985 Stallone either visited the set to offer Lundgren the role of drago and Lundgren accepted or knew someone from the film and relayed the information back to dolph about Stallone's offer and Lundgren accepted so Stallone may have been watching from the set but not from the cinema because rocky 4 was going to be out in November that year.

    I don't know about the rest of youse people/folks, yet the Library of Congress needs to have this movie preserved till the day the Earth spins away from the sun (in about 1000 years), FOR THIS SCENE ALONE!
    Yes, all for the eternal preservation of this scene, this one scene.
    And all for ""cultural, historical and aesthetic"" reasons, such is the priceless value and amazingly profound awesomeness OF THIS SCENE, this single, solitary scene by itself, freakishly unreal and surreal as it is.
    I mean look who's in it! For any scene featuring Christopher Walken, Grace Jones and Dolph Lundgren ALL TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME is quite the scene to behold, to marvel at, and to cherish. Precious.
    And fuckin weirdly appealing as well! Love it! That trio of larger than life freaks!
    Time to call The Library of Congress, and get that petition going (vitally imperative as it is). Fuck ya, motherfuckers!! 😄😄😄
