These are the best catholic lectures on TH-cam!! Thank you to the clergy who create and post these for us.
Catholics are starving for this information.

I am a cradle Catholic (although I left for a period). In the last five years or so I have been seriously studying my Faith. As I listen to your talks though, I realize how much I still don't know. Thank you! I am serious in thinking/studying about the life to come, and that makes a lot of difference in not being too attached to this world. Thank you for focusing on that aspect....

You literally saved my soul Fr Ignatius. I used to be a faithful soul in 2016-2017. But in 2018-2019 I became a good soul

57:54 IT can be applied to the past if the person is properly disposed, which is as rare as a perfect act of contrition and it also depends on the cause and reason for the suffering in the past and how well the sinner now understands that portion of the equation. If the person now has advanced enough in the spiritual life, they can powerfully understand past events in their life, and purify them with God's grace. It's basically penance.

Now I can't stop thinking about a meatball sub! So much for staying recollected & having a spirit of mortification. 🤣 Truly, thank you for the incredibly beautiful and immensely helpful posting.

I wonder which Saints I should seek out for wisdom when it comes to a soul in the middle of the purgative way unsure about attending daily mass and being able to work and eat because the rule is fasting an hour before receiving the Eucharist. This soul also has to deal with people that are in that outer court usually as a result of treachery. People tend to get angry with me because I am not doing what they think I should be doing. They usually get angry first, and I tell them right back to shove off and tend to their own wounds before telling me what I should do in a public place. If you are nervous about what someone is going to do, the least you could do is lend a better ear than what you have done.

Dear Father Ignatius, may i ask for a copy of the pamphlet you showed during this conference? I would be praying for a 'yes'. Thank you and may God keep you always.

It's an excellent idea to pray for an increase of faith. If one lives in a big city and they can't concentrate on praying in church because the priest is a pervert or an alcoholic, or talks in an abusive manner, I don't think its a sin if they leave the church and pray at home, its a sin if they stop praying. It's also a sin to blame your sin on others.
