I 1000% agree with what you said about how you can't fake good music 👏 sure these companies can get their idols to fake their personalities, put on a persona, put on excessive make up to make them look "flawless", act like perfect little angels, etc. but you absolutely CAN'T fake quality of an art. and that's exactly why I love BTS' music because I recognized the quality and the sincerity of their crafts. you can trick people with the things I've mentioned above, but you can't trick people into thinking your music is good. if they think it's good, then it's good. if they think it's shitty, then it's shitty.

In my opinion bighit at that point of time where idol trainees where going through such strain gave bangtan complete freedom to voice their opinion and I think that made them stand out.... You are so right. I have been an Army since their debut. I was never a big KPOP fans. What attracted me to BTS was their music. It was so different. I didn't even know how they look like at beginning until I went and search them thru the internet.
I really like this docu-series, it's very well made ! I watch a new episode each week, it's my little pleasure of the week end, with the bonus episode and the cut scenes épisode.
I really discovered them in 2020 and I wish I followed them since they started in 2013. They bring me so much joy, no matter what I watch I'm either smiling like a dummy or crying from being moved to tears. I'm sad I missed so many years of them growing into the amazing artists and humans they are today (but still glad I got there eventually) :)
No, it's the same between girls group and boys group, they have to maintain certain weight. don't forget Jimin almost got cut 8 times from BTS before they debut time, and he told us in his vlog after the Lunar New Year he gained more weight and had to lose it in just few days, not months, so sad and tragic, that it's why Jimin after debut got scared to eat too much and only eat one time per day and it makes V and Jungkook worried and JK had to follow Jimin diet routine so Jimin would stop the diet routine cause it made JK sick.
Where was it told that JK followed the same diet as Jimin and that Jimin dropped his diet because of JK? I've seen this rumour a lot, but no one has ever given a source for this statement so it's starting to sound like something that some people from the Army made up. :/ But yeah Jimin (and all of the BTS members) had it rough at the beginning of their career...
For those who believed and said 'BTS, these boys will do well and be great'. I applaud to you,you weren't wrong. These boys grew into fine men taking over the world with the message of loving yourself, hope and dreams.
I love this inside look into the industry and into how BTS got thier start. This really brings home how important ARMY were in their life in the beginning, giving them the positive encouragement to keep moving forward during their most difficult times. BTS really are exceptional and extremely talented. I give props to Hitman Bang for encouraging them to create their own music from their own experiences and personalities. This is what makes BTS stand out and what drew me to them. They are not your average KPOP boy band. They are unique and exceptional. 💜

What I love most about this is you really see that these 7 men are EXACTLY the same at their core. They've grown up, but you can see who they are as humans hasn't changed even though they've literally transcended the industry. Jimin's assessment of each member is still spot on & how like him to make a vlog about them like that to begin with 😆

was so excited to see your reaction to this ! one small thing to clarify because of the way age is calculated in Korea (you’re counted as 1 at birth and age a year at the new year meaning if you’re born in late Dec like Tae you’d be 2 by your first January) the members international age when they debuted was actually 15 (JK), 17 (Jimin and V), 18 (RM), 19 (JHope), 20 (Suga and Jin) anyways this series is completely the best chronicle of BTS’s story and journey, especially in giving insight into the industry they were in but also up against, following events chronologically, their struggles (but with real context) and crucially in hearing the members experiences and thoughts firsthand in their own words (sometimes the jokey compilations while fun reduce the members to persistent stereotypes)
There are bonus part and deleted scenes per each chapter ,hope you include them on your next chapter review. Each chapter is being uploaded sat 8 or 9 pm est

This series shows what JK meant to FESTA (??? I'm not quite sure) that RM really struggled and worried a lot when they debut (in their earliest days/years) as he was the leader of their group. I think he worries a lot because of those people who look down on them. He wants to prove that they were all wrong. His determination to succeed really shows in this series. Cuz me too, that what I will feel especially if my peers humiliate me in front of other artists and tons of audiences. So, I really admire his determination and courage. I want to say to him that He did a great job and I am proud of him. He carried those responsibilities at a young age. Now, I understand why Jungkook always thanks him and admires him the most.
it is the same for boys and girls in terms of weight loss. jimin also had an ED for a while and struggled with his weight for such a big part of his career.
i wll say props for big hit for not giving up this video is a contrast of they are now why I like only bts compared to bp who I watched a year ago but it was bts that impressed me the most music wise

i'm sad taehyung wasn't introduced yet lol.. we all got to know about him just right before debut and didn't have any idea that bangtan was a 7 member group, so in all these pre debut vlogs, tae isn't there.
the body image stuff is extreme for both boy and girl groups but there's some companies who watch their girl groups on cctv and the diet restricting is insane... *coughCUBEENTERTAINMENTcough* I've read about girl groups eating only apples and drinking water... I also remember BigBang saying when they were trainees the fridge had a chain on it... and they don't have a say if a company decides their image needs to be changed either physically or personality wise unless they wanna leave so like yeah there's plenty of strict and over the top expectations regarding all that for the guys as well but it's a different ball game for the girls especially with the more traditional conservative korean mindset. They aren't even allowed to speak their own opinions in almost all regards or read a book their fans don't like. Boygroups have harsh criticisms as well and have standards and restrictions too but the expectations for the girls groups are a different intensity. it really does depend on the company but generally....

was so excited to see your reaction to this ! one small thing to clarify because of the way age is calculated in Korea (you’re counted as 1 at birth and age a year at the new year meaning if you’re born in late Dec like Tae you’d be 2 by your first January) the members international age when they debuted was actually 15 (JK), 17 (Jimin and V), 18 (RM), 19 (JHope), 20 (Suga and Jin)
anyways this series is completely the best chronicle of BTS’s story and journey, especially in giving insight into the industry they were in but also up against, following events chronologically, their struggles (but with real context) and crucially in hearing the members experiences and thoughts firsthand in their own words (sometimes the jokey compilations while fun reduce the members to persistent stereotypes)
There are bonus part and deleted scenes per each chapter ,hope you include them on your next chapter review. Each chapter is being uploaded sat 8 or 9 pm est
But not for the next few weeks--they're taking a break. And on Friday I thought?

But I also think that V being the hidden member also makes him kinda special, after all he's the most handsome man on Earth. And I don't think that V would've stayed in the team if he was too hurt. i think he was just worried if he'd ever debut but he did and now it's all okay.

This series shows what JK meant to FESTA (??? I'm not quite sure) that RM really struggled and worried a lot when they debut (in their earliest days/years) as he was the leader of their group. I think he worries a lot because of those people who look down on them. He wants to prove that they were all wrong. His determination to succeed really shows in this series. Cuz me too, that what I will feel especially if my peers humiliate me in front of other artists and tons of audiences. So, I really admire his determination and courage. I want to say to him that He did a great job and I am proud of him. He carried those responsibilities at a young age. Now, I understand why Jungkook always thanks him and admires him the most.

it is the same for boys and girls in terms of weight loss. jimin also had an ED for a while and struggled with his weight for such a big part of his career.

I kept tearing up when i watched this episode 1. They are not complete here but the next episode it will just gets better.
i'm sad taehyung wasn't introduced yet lol.. we all got to know about him just right before debut and didn't have any idea that bangtan was a 7 member group, so in all these pre debut vlogs, tae isn't there.
Yeah I was going to cry while watching this
the body image stuff is extreme for both boy and girl groups but there's some companies who watch their girl groups on cctv and the diet restricting is insane... *coughCUBEENTERTAINMENTcough*
I've read about girl groups eating only apples and drinking water... I also remember BigBang saying when they were trainees the fridge had a chain on it... and they don't have a say if a company decides their image needs to be changed either physically or personality wise unless they wanna leave so like yeah there's plenty of strict and over the top expectations regarding all that for the guys as well but it's a different ball game for the girls especially with the more traditional conservative korean mindset. They aren't even allowed to speak their own opinions in almost all regards or read a book their fans don't like. Boygroups have harsh criticisms as well and have standards and restrictions too but the expectations for the girls groups are a different intensity. it really does depend on the company but generally....
