But this is a korean game and they are cursed in a way so that anything they make turn out to be somewhat a lineage 2 analog. i dont have any access to statistics but i guess 90% of playerbase are running normals and dont give an F about HR

Entry fee really isn't the issue. 100g is a drop in the bucket with the economy these days. HR isn't too empty either (though I play NA servers). Main problem with hr imo is gear balance and effort vs reward.
I did 4 he'll runs with minibosses in each run 1 player each run and full invs of loot, died once in total was -500 ap in total their system is broken as, I was demigod before last 2 deaths lol
Make it so anything you loot has the same AP value depending on rarity. Now you can take juicy gear with you, but you can also take treasure. Feels dumb to play the game and not bring any treasure out. I would hate having to drop a purple 4-slot for some purple 60g rogue cowl with shit stats just because I don't want to lose AP. They look at stats like what people are playing or how often they survive. They don’t know their own game, just the stats which get weighted by things like default perk and skill choices, etc. Nobody was playing demon, so they buffed it. An absolute tone deaf decision for the S++ tier class.
I don't think I've heard a single person say that they wanted treasure to be worth no AP at all. If anything, people have complained before that other things weren't up to par with treasure, but absolutely nobody said "hey, let's just make treasure completely worthless." I have no clue what they were thinking or what data they followed to make this decision but it's not a good one. Also not sure why we aren't suggesting a nerf on the treasure AP scaling rather than completely changing the requirements and making treasure worthless in HR.

The start of this season everyone is playing normals to have fun. This will change soon as the need to climb the leader boards for the "cool" cosmetics will have HR filling. Let it ride.. watch it level out
In hr trio crypts it is impossible to hit Demigod atm, unlike Ice caves you don't have time to clear pve in crypts because you need to hunt other juiced teams so you don't get griefed in hell. So taking that into account, you get one floor of clearing modules for ap. We were clearing boss every raid and 3-4 modules in hell and were getting between 600-900 ap in pathfinder.
In a SUPER optimized run as a warlock in solo. Killing 50 mobs and 7 sub bosses AND solo HR Lich I got 1,200pts. With fee that's 400pts. Only turbo sweats playing warlock can pull those numbers and that's with incredible gear, RNG spawns, and no PVP. The grind is clearly broken right now and needs to be fixed.
Boss kill should just give straight up 1k at the very least. As is its hr bossing is easter egg mechanic for the 1%. If it becomes substantical reward maybe people will start bothering to actually fight bosses.
On the other hand now we have motivation to actually kill high ap mobs in hell. Maybe people will learn how to deal with them without stairs cheese lol.
Currently exemplar 3 and I did a solo run in crypts and got +747 points even though my entrance fee is 700. Only thing is it was a really good run and hard to replicate. I had lots of lions head opens and tons of mob kills , and its mad stressfull in highroller solo hell
Tbh, adjust the penalty for dying, leave the AP gain that we have now as is. We usually have 2-3 months in the season, it should take at least a couple of weeks of non stop grinding to get to that rank and not a few days or a week. It suppose to be that the 0.1% will get that rank. So getting 50-100 AP at perfect play at the high level, seems ok if we look at this that way.
Collecting treasure doesn’t take skill. Demigod is actually a grind now. I might be the only person who likes the way it is. Not everyone can get it the way it should be.
It’s literally the goal of the game to get out with better things you walked in with why shouldn’t you be rewarded for a full inventory of treasure thats the whole point isn’t it ?
LOL. Now it seems almost like "All classes" leaderboard doesn't make any sense at all, only class specific does. As we have AP progression requirements clearly skewed in favor of some classes more then others. The progress now is tied entirely to kills for a given time while we have classes that cannot perform as effectively as others without wasting time to replenish spells. Imagine wizard trying to catch up to warlock on PvE and boss farming. Warlock already was in a near best spot for HR, now when all the looter classes are gone and only kills matter he seems to be above literally everyone. Something needs to be thought out here...

I think they should do a death cost rather than an entrance fee. Shouldn't the point of the game to be surviving the dungeon? Obviously people will try and like sit by extracts and what not (super rat tactics) if you took entrance fee away completely. They should really look at drastically reducing entrance fee and then have a high AP cost to not making it out. I think it would maker the AP grind system more interesting and less like absolute mini-max hell.
I guess I am the literal only one who likes the current system. It's basically a monster killing speed run, and if players get in your way, you're rewarded for killing them too. And it forces you to take on layer 3 no matter what if you want to go positive. And its almost as if getting demi-god requires you to be something of a... demi-god. But I guess everyone wants to be able to just grind it lol
it's not that it isn't possible, it's that it's not likely, even by people with tons of experience. The guys that are playing live every day and widely regarded as some of the most proficient players in the world (that screen cap is from Jay, for instance) are all saying the same thing.

hardly, you can get quite decent loot. i tend to run greens with a blue wep or purp wep, keeping the whole build under 500g, then taking a luck potion and the high roller fee. need to break 750g in a run to make the costs up. after that first run its 250g per run to break even. most of the lobbies are fairly empty and gobbo caves are the best for solo ranked. last night i spent close to 3k in gold and gained close to 10
Why not just make the cost of AP only count if you die? balance it based on if you can survive the dungeon instead of how much can you min max? the entrance fee or (death penalty) could just be like 1000-3000 AP or a lot more?
New players are getting their first taste of the bizarre balancing that ironmace killed the first community with over the last year. Hopefully they dont blow through these new 50k players as quickly.
I keep getting around 250 AP in HR on successful extracts, without fighting bosses, going to hell or engaging in pvp. That's really not much AP, especially if you consider some of my games are 0 AP due to dying, mostly to pvp. On the end-game AP score list, I'm only getting AP for Monster Kill and [High-End] Props Interactions, no assists as I'm doing solo runs.
of course AP needs some adjustment right now but.... cmon guy, just go and admit to actively ignoring 3 main sources of ap and complain about lack of ap. 🙄 these kiddos really want demi from "f to interact".

The whole AP system is stupid I don’t understand why companies attempt to depart from the very familiar battle pass progression system and unsurprisingly end up with a heap of unbalanced dogshit that either everybody or 0.1% of the player base actually completes.
Im pretty sure it was a code problem because when you give your friend the loot weapons on you to them that counted as looted. So players could cheat and give friends loot to gain ap.

I personaly take 1500 ap per game as a rogue by just murdering mobs in crypts and beelining for ap dense areas, same for hell. its easier for solos in my opinion to farm ap then trios cause all your work is your own. theres definitely more risk but its better then having to do 40 runs with friends.
Current matchmaking is awful, dont bother playing HR till they figure something out, or you have absolute BIS. It feels worse than ever this wipe. Dont bother with mid tier kits in HR because the BIS legendary/unique guys with 3 trolls blood a piece are gonna roll you

F2p players are heavily catered to, now they basically get every feature free of charge. Those of us who bought the game get a harder than ever, borderline impossible ap grind lmao
lol dont blame f2p for that shit. 1. thats how most f2p games work, you get the whole game with incentive to buy MTX from the shop 2. you choose to go on that grind, f2p players arent forcing you to do anything and they didnt ask for this change.
AP points focusing on Kills just to gain is nonsense, there will be people extracting early, there will be other people making kills. That would mean just you spawning where people arent close by, would make you automaticly lose AP. Nonsense.
Treasure should be there just less, but make things like gear off players and players more. So if you loot and avoid pvp then its a bit slower to rank but if you are agressive and pvp, then its much faster.
Was getting demigod as solo ever viable? Don't have anyone to play HR with and it's discouraging seeing how even Onepeg with his dream team can't get to Demigod. Surely Onepeg trio not being able to get Demigod will be patched, but what about us solo runners?
Im doing more than 1k points on exemplar 2 doing hell runs in crypts, and that without getting pvp kills, i mean monsters kills give more ap than before, its the same but u dont have to optimize treasure, i pref the treasure system to be honest it was chill and fun for me, but its not "days of grinding" if u know how to do it, u just have to clear 2/3 rooms on inferno, and all u can in crypts, with semy empty lobbies thats kinda easy.
If it costs 900 AP to play as demigod, why on earth would anyone play high roller as demigod. Is there even a benefit? I feel like it's all risk and literally zero reward potential. Anyone else kinda feel like HR is just.. annoying? I can't be alone in having TONS more fun in the "poormals" lobbies. In HR you can have people just straight up stat checking each other. That's not.. that's just dumb. That's not PVP. That's not a game. That's literally just "haha I have more gold than you, you lose" On top of that, you die, lose all your shit and then have to spend an hour looking at stats to build a new kit, just to die again half an hour later and do it again? Why? How is that enjoyable? Not only that but objectively speaking, poormals IS the skill based game mode. Yes there's a ton of Timmy's trying to learn but there's also people like me who have played since play test 3 and just want to enjoy the pvp of the game without the extra bullshit

I just select the option to "lose one big toe" before entering HR. I prefer to just have a lack of balance rather than ante up that much AP.

Ante for high roller should be AP not gold, they can seriously just have it back where you have to do boss fights for demigod.

AP points focusing on Kills just to gain is nonsense, there will be people extracting early, there will be other people making kills.
That would mean just you spawning where people arent close by, would make you automaticly lose AP. Nonsense.

2x12 minutes is way too short
Treasure should be there just less, but make things like gear off players and players more. So if you loot and avoid pvp then its a bit slower to rank but if you are agressive and pvp, then its much faster.
Bring back treasure at least so then it's your choice better gear or ap. Also some type of matchmaking, gear or rank something has to be done.
Was getting demigod as solo ever viable?
Don't have anyone to play HR with and it's discouraging seeing how even Onepeg with his dream team can't get to Demigod. Surely Onepeg trio not being able to get Demigod will be patched, but what about us solo runners?
we uninstall brother. there is no chance for solo players unless you have 10hrs a day

Cleric works really well in frost gotten demigod last 2 seasons in duo lobbies as a solo.

Im doing more than 1k points on exemplar 2 doing hell runs in crypts, and that without getting pvp kills, i mean monsters kills give more ap than before, its the same but u dont have to optimize treasure, i pref the treasure system to be honest it was chill and fun for me, but its not "days of grinding" if u know how to do it, u just have to clear 2/3 rooms on inferno, and all u can in crypts, with semy empty lobbies thats kinda easy.
I just want ruins back!
those runs were not perfectly optimized... you wouldn't loot if it was. that was optimized on the old system

If it costs 900 AP to play as demigod, why on earth would anyone play high roller as demigod. Is there even a benefit? I feel like it's all risk and literally zero reward potential.
It should cost 0 AP to play as Demigod. You've made it. Maybe you lose some AP for dying but it's just stupid to me and is a mechanic that pushes people to not play their character??

I can't be alone in having TONS more fun in the "poormals" lobbies.
In HR you can have people just straight up stat checking each other. That's not.. that's just dumb. That's not PVP. That's not a game. That's literally just "haha I have more gold than you, you lose"
On top of that, you die, lose all your shit and then have to spend an hour looking at stats to build a new kit, just to die again half an hour later and do it again? Why? How is that enjoyable? Not only that but objectively speaking, poormals IS the skill based game mode. Yes there's a ton of Timmy's trying to learn but there's also people like me who have played since play test 3 and just want to enjoy the pvp of the game without the extra bullshit

yeah, sooo, they can only make so many poor decisions before we all quit. i almost quit because they have maint so frequently i couldnt even keep up with the sweaty grinders. they dont use their test realm they just close the game for maint, then after maint, they shut down for hotfixes. sometimes 24hrs long. there is no reason to play or try to obtain a goal on such a broken constantly messed up game. its like. just let us play. set shit up, make shiit function, and just leave it be. literally once a week their like, we changing this. so silly. no matter the class a fucking ranger just comes in and snipes. every fucking time. people complain about druid but holy shit. i am happy to have uninstalled. i wish i could refund
Bruh if you're that butthurt then just leave they'll fix it like they do everything. This is a bad update but they'll turn it around. Yall forget this is still EA and there will be loads of trial and error still
