@@Temporal72 Their third album was the first with a contract (the others were crowd and self funded). It's produced and mixed by top people. They posted a clip on their Patreon page, and I'm just going to say that it kicked maximum ass, but in those 10 seconds there were some interesting things that I haven't heard before from them. They've been offered contracts before and rejected them because labels wanted them to change their music, dress (no comment what *that* probably meant), and so forth. One exec asked them whether they'd rather play for 12 or 12,000 people, and Pau shot back that they would rather play the music they want the way they want for 12 than somebody else's for 12,000. They've since played at festivals for 20,000 or more people, so I suppose it's fair to say that they got the last laugh. Speaks a lot to their integrity as well as their attention to detail. They actually like listening to a lot of pop (as well as other music), but the themes of their songs tend to be dark and serious, although that comes from lots of reading and very active imagination rather than personal bad experiences. Dull Knives is a bit more metal than they usually are, but they're basically solid rock & roll. They did an early EP, Escape the Mind (when they were 15, 13, and 10!) partly to learn about the recording process and partly to experiment with different styles. All I'll say about that is that they put more good music on a 5 song EP than a lot of experienced bands put on a full album. After that they did the 5-week summer program at Berklee (only the guitarist Dany was old enough; the drummer Pau and the bassist Ale got waivers) and it's very evident watching videos that they learned a lot in those 5 weeks. They work extremely hard at their craft. I'm sure that growing up together as sisters has both made it a bit easier in terms of being in tune with each other, and it certainly makes it a lot easier for them right now, as they can continue to practice and rehearse as they all live with their parents. The whole family is on good authority very warm and humble. They also trade off during Survive (Pau sings the chorus and Dany the verses) and in one of the very few covers they've done in recent years, Atlas Rise. Pau has also been known to jump in on the fly in an emergency (there was one concert in which Dany dropped her pick, so Pau filled in while Dany found it). Dany doesn't do a lot of virtuosic solos. They don't tend to incorporate (thus far) a lot of extended solos into their songs. Dany certainly can shred when she wants to, but that doesn't seem to be the style in their own music to date. Keep in mind that as a trio Dany is playing both lead and rhythm. Her solos (such as near the end of The End) tend to be lyrical, almost using her guitar as a fourth voice. I'm guessing that the underlying dynamic responsible for both that and their vocal sharing is because they're sisters who are very close and aren't interested in stealing the limelight from each other. But when they covered Atlas Rise and (at a much younger age) Crazy Train Dany very much did what was called for -- including getting two guitar parts into one guitar. They're clearly all superb musicians individually, but this band more than others is a case of the total being a lot more than the sum of the parts. Their background is certainly inspiring, but the music's as good as any, so they have a lot of fans in their 50's and 60's who remember 1970's and 1980's rock.

Yes, attitude and energy is a wonderful description for The Warning. Now that you have heard this, look for the same song on their channel, but the acoustic version. It is just piano and vocals. The melody you talked about is up front and center stage in that performance. 🤘🏻

The Warning are three sisters that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister) at 3 and Daniela (Dani = Dani. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to TH-cam for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show!.The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10 000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album XXI Century Blood in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded Queen of the Murder Scene and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, Narcisista. A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. This was recorded live in June 2019 st Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - th-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/w-d-xo.html The Warning is totally fan funded through Patreon, TH-cam and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because[a] they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise fund for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lock down was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City. This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on TH-cam and Facebook achieving well over 50000 simultaneous viewers on March 25 2020. They have since performed from The Warning a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville Tx for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. So now you've been WARNED! I hope you will check out more of their music and see how they have grown. High energy performance to go along with an awesome song. The Warning rocks 🤘😎🤘👸👸👸👸. Looking forward to the next reaction to this great band. New subscriber here.
Hah hah! I love watching *first* reactions to these gals! Especially someone who is familiar with playing , and general song structure.😉 It's probably been said already, but you've just scratched the surface! With 2 full albums, an EP, a Spanish language single, and a new album about to be released, you'll have more than enough material to pull you into The Warning 'rabbit hole'.😁 From heart-wrenching power ballads, to 90's style punk rock, to metal-influenced rock anthems, they have it all.😮 Paulina (Pau) the drummer writes a pretty good portion of the lyrics in addition to singing and controlling the computer with the backing and click tracks. Daniela (Dany) provides the amazing and soulful guitar riffs and leads, and the majority of the lead vocals, and Alejandra, the youngest, now 16, gives 110% with her driving bass and backup vocals. Her bass is a custom 5 string by Spector, and Dany's guitar is a custom Rick Toone Spearfish. These gals have been extensively schooled on the best equipment to get the sound they're looking for, and with a bunch of support from Patreon and Kickstarter supporters, they've independently produced an EP, and 2 full-length albums, even before they signed with Lava Records. They are definitely the ones to watch in the near future as they bring back the 'classic rock' sound and energy!!😁👍 🤘😎🤘
Welcome to The Warning! You need to keep digging- you will not find a bad performance anywhere! At the time of this video Dany (guitar) was 20, Pau (drums) was 18, and Ale (bass) was 15years old.

@@TheUnderdogDe Actually no thier a part of North America. Mexico, United States & Canada. Maybe know geography before you comment. Mighty Mouse would be disappointed.
@@bobparmelee1071 Well, North America is a continent and so is South America. It's quite amusing that 4 people liked your reply. 😁 They must all have gone to school in the US. 😄 _Latin America is a group of countries and dependencies in the Western Hemisphere where Romance languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, and French are predominantly spoken. Some subnational regions such as Quebec and parts of the United States where Romance languages are primarily spoken are not included due to the countries as a whole being a part of Anglo America (an exception to this is Puerto Rico, which is almost always included within the definition of Latin America despite being a territory of the United States). The term is broader than categories such as Hispanic America, which specifically refers to Spanish-speaking countries, and Ibero-America, which specifically refers to both Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries. The term is also more recent in origin._ I'm certainly not a geography expert, but this stuff is basic knowledge for most people living outside of the US. Americans hardly know the difference between Sweden and Switzerland. 🤣
Hi Bob, Mexico is Latin America. Latin america is not South America. You are confused with North America and South America continental definition. Mexico belongs to North America but at the same time they are Latinos. When we refer to latin america we refer to countries that speak romance languages without distinction if they are from North or South America.

This wasn't a "reaction" as much as it was an "interaction". You talking over their performance isn't why I came here. You talk too much for too long, which interrupts the flow. Listen to the song, then REACT to it. If you wanna talk about their gear or whether you wanna hear more "kick drum" in their original music, do a tech breakdown video. Respect the music, respect their talent
Well, that just happens, I try just to be honest with everything that I feel and think on a reaction, actually if you check other videos it doesn't happen everytime

Yes, attitude and energy is a wonderful description for The Warning. Now that you have heard this, look for the same song on their channel, but the acoustic version. It is just piano and vocals. The melody you talked about is up front and center stage in that performance. 🤘🏻
Love the piano version of this song almost as much as the full version.
Whoa, now I want to hear that version, I will do it pretty soon!
@@Temporal72 here is the link to the piano version just Pau and Dany th-cam.com/video/AuPDYrYcjh4/w-d-xo.html
Yeah, Pau loves her toms! All play piano, sing, and write and arrange their own compositions! Greatly talented sisters, the 3rd album just mixed, will be published soon! 👍⚡️🤘
It seems like a great time to start hearing this band :)
Thanks!!! Love the Warning!!!!!!!!
You're welcome!
The voice of the sisters.
Amazing band !

Yeaah, they sound great!
If you love those chord changes then you'll love The Warning indeed.
I'm excited to hear more of their music!
I really enjoyed your reaction to The Warning! They are really amazing!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it
Hi! Thanks for reacting to my fav band. More The Warning please. Subbed!
It was my pleasure, sure! I want to hear more of their sound! 🔥
2015 Primer EP - Escape the Mind
2017 1er. Álbum - 21st Century Blood
2018 2do.

¡SUB!

Welcome to the Warning Army bro.
Thanks, T72. Very informative
This was recorded live in June 2019 st Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - th-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/w-d-xo.html
The Warning is totally fan funded through Patreon, TH-cam and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter.
Here is a recommended viewing list to see their evolution:

@@Temporal72 I knew subbing to your channel was the smart thing to do... Anything from their TH-cam channel will not suck, I would suggest the song Queen of the Murder Scene.
really excellent reaction. love it when musicians check them out and pick up things first time thru what its taken me dozens of listenings... did i say dozens? make that hundreds!
I'm glad you liked it!
First time I saw Dany’s guitar I thought it was a Parker too, and that’s mainly because the headstock shape is very similar. 😍👌🏼
Yeaaah it is, I got confused 😅
High energy performance to go along with an awesome song. The Warning rocks 🤘😎🤘👸👸👸👸. Looking forward to the next reaction to this great band. New subscriber here.
Welcome to the channel! I will do another one very soon :)
Hah hah! I love watching *first* reactions to these gals! Especially someone who is familiar with playing , and general song structure.😉 It's probably been said already, but you've just scratched the surface! With 2 full albums, an EP, a Spanish language single, and a new album about to be released, you'll have more than enough material to pull you into The Warning 'rabbit hole'.😁 From heart-wrenching power ballads, to 90's style punk rock, to metal-influenced rock anthems, they have it all.😮
Paulina (Pau) the drummer writes a pretty good portion of the lyrics in addition to singing and controlling the computer with the backing and click tracks.
It seems like they have a bright future and they will be an inspiration to new generations and preserve the power of rock and metal! 😎
Thanks for react to The Warning!!!

Pau loves her floor toms. The tribal sound is so cool in this song. BTW they aren't latino american. There from Monterrey Mexico.
Then again, Mexico is part of Latin America. 😉
The term is also more recent in origin._
I'm certainly not a geography expert, but this stuff is basic knowledge for most people living outside of the US.

See, now this is way better than BM garbage, The Warning brings back the sweet sound of true rock back to life along with bands like Lovebites and Motion Device, these three new bands are the epic scene of rock nowadays and no one can come close to their caliber of intensity and talent
I think I can like all of these bands, they all create sounds that I like in different ways!
These young ladies are awesome! They have 1 actual music video whish was nominated for awards -- XXI Century Blood and then a cover of The Foo Fighters - Pretender but all the rest of their videos are live concert or like this one in their Cave at home. The video on thier official youtube channel OR TheWarningArmy channel are all good quality but there are great fan videos from concerts too. You should add their one spanish song to your list for reactions Narcisista th-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/w-d-xo.html It really show their attitude and Pau's animation while she sings and drums. They are very active on instagram, patreon and here on youtube so extremely fan friendly. Any TW video you react to gets shared on their Patreon discord channel for us TWA to come watch and support anyway thanks and be safe cioa for now
I think the next one that I want to do is Narcisista, oops I forgot to follow then on Instagram, thank you for reminding me about that!

Are all of them multi-instrumentalist?
Yes they can all play the piano, Dany and Pau say Ale is th best out of the 3, which says as lot as they all really good on the piano,. They all started playing classical music between the ages of 4 and 6 years of age😎😁
attiTUDE!
React to dust to dust by the warning band. But try not to talk to much. Makes it hard to understand what's going on.
Haha I will try, sometimes it happens, sometimes not, you can see that if you check other videos on my channel :p
