A trip to Golden Corral is a must when visiting US . I was surprised few weeks back when I went (salt lake city)for breakfast that they had China plates and not plastic . Breakfast was $10 dollars such good value
Was hoping that someone would do a vlog on this place, miss the good old days of ponderosa, sizzlers and western steer. Thanks for the upload, can't wait to try in November.
Going over in a couple of weeks and usually have breakfast every morning at that GC but looks like they only do breakfast at the weekend now and the one opposite celebration 🥲
Thanks for sharing this video. While watching, felt like I was right there in the Golden corral with you two. Haven't been to one of these in years. The food is delicious. Great value for your money. I liked this video. Also, I subscribed to your channel.
Golden Corral, Ponderosa & Sizzler take me back! Yes, eating before and after the parks. Denny’s was the treat. I’ve actually got footage from 1989 that my Dad took as we couldn’t believe the size of the buffet 😂😂
Thanks so much! I live five minutes away from that Golden Corral and have never gone in, I imagined something very different. I think I will give them a try now! 👍🏼
Nothing fancy but GREAT VALUE for an all you can eat espicially for families with something for everyone.Great share hope you both have an awesome week 🙂👍
Super value for money. Food looked good, simple home-cooked food that probably tasted wonderful and filled you up. I imagine just like your mother used to make. Yummy 😋 Another great video guys, we do enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Mr and Mrs. Bazza. What a great fun day, loved the banquet, it looked like a tasty meal at a good price. Value for money, affordable . From your fans down-under 🇦🇺
been there on many occasions and fantastic value for money with a big family used to do steaks pork ribs hams looking like they have cut down on the choice you have now geart video again looking forward to come back in the winter here for a mouth this time
My dad immigrated to the US from east Belfast in the 70’s… around that time it wasn’t great to be a family man raising your kids in Belfast. My cousins from the newtownards love Orlando and love that they can stay for free with us and then go to the parks. I took them to new Smyrna beach last month when they were over (don’t tell anyone else because that’s the locals only beach), they had a great time. All I can say is if you explore o-town and want to have a good bite to eat and feel fancy, please check out park Ave in winter park. It is the cultural center of Orlando. Check out prado, blu on the Ave, Armando’s. Lots of ex pats in Orlando, being older now I can understand why my dad didn’t want to raise me in Belfast in the 80’s
Being of an age I do remember all the troubles in Belfast, I did make a few work trips there in the early 90’s flying into Belfast. Thanks for the tips, we have no regrets in moving to the USA
First went to Golden Coral in 1999,on the 192. Really good value. Was $5 then. Went again in 2005 when we were staying at the Quality Inn International on I Drive(now Rosen Inn International). Again Really gud value. Good to see it's still going 😀
Thanks for doing that video I was one of the persons who asked for you to do it because when we go over in September we will be going we’ve been there every time we come over and it’s like what you said for what you pay it’s good value for money
That float looks great, we tried the regular Dole Whip last time, but need to try a float next time. Used to have Sizzler all the time back in Australia, not heard of Golden Corral though
Great vlog both of you. Enjoyed this one, there does always seem to be a bottle neck at those two big rides. I haven't been since 2005, solo trip booked for next year. I have taken my neice and nephews years ago at buffet in the mornings, yes shamefully we filled them up with pop, ice cream, chicken nuggets etc before a park. They thought it was great, something mum wouldn't allow but Aunt would 😂😂 I have heard conflicting reports on GC, good and bad. Loved the Ponderosa 😔
You can get a great pinealle Dole whips at the Polinesian Resort, go through the looby and out the back, turn left and you can find many of the flavors.
had a quick look at pricing - looks like you got - "Senior Early Bird Special (Mon. thru Fri. from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M.) - Includes Beverage $8.99/person" from what I can tell? Great vlog, and when we visit in May we will be looking to go here! Thanks Baz!
I have been living in Orlando for 25 years, lived in NYC for 20 before i moved..The Theme parks are a nightmare, last time i went to Universal was 22 years ago and Disney 36 years ago when my daughter was 4...With the cost these days, some people need to take out a loan in order to pay..My son who live in Maryland took his 3 kids this April, stayed at a Disney resort in the park for 4 night..total price..$7,200..that is nuts...
Have all the ponderosas and sizzlers' gone now? Fantastic memories of previous visits to Florida...we last went 7 years ago and cannot wait to get back! Last time we visited we discovered a new one - sweet tomato which was really lovely! Brilliant vids as always!
Have never been to one.. Will have to take a drive to our local one some time. Love me some buffet food… Not to self… Barry leaves dollars on his car! 🤣🤣
Beer & wine . Your mum wud be happy . 😂…. Think we all are with beer and wine. Just like our thought process when you get a deal you think they’ve mistaken you for wanting the pensioners special!!!! Another excellent vlog .
Ponderosa! I remember when they did $2.99 breakfast!! I am not a breakfast person so when the server came round and asked me if I was going to eat anything. I said all I wanted was some Tea. "The tea is on me, honey," she said and refunded me my money. Needless to say I tipped more than the 20% they expect now! (We were a party of four)
Love your vlogs - thank you 😊 We are in Orlando on vacation so your videos are even more useful 💕 The Big Deal price of £8.99 is the Senior Special 🤣 Mon-Fri 11am-3pm (includes beverage) 😂😂🥰
As soon as we hear your theme tune it cheers us up no end 😁 Seeing you go into the park reminds me of an embarrassing newbie question... when do you register your fingerprint? (no-one seems to cover this in their vlogs)
Where abouts on the 192 is this please Barry, our daughter and family are coming over in September and she and Andy will want to go to a GC. Thank you.😊
During the pandemic GC stopped self serve I understand. Is this still the same because what put us off was kids helping themselves and not always in a hygenic way.
8.99 is a great value, all of the stuff is cheap, no seafood. If there is more buffets like this and also chinese buffets take out seafood and is around this price, i would totally go.
I can't believe this!!! I've been telling my wife for months how much I want to go to Golden Corral (we've never been). This video couldn't have come at a better time! We'll definitely be going in the near future. How did the sirloin steaks look? I love the idea of endless sirloin steaks and baked potatoes.
We was in Orlando in March and April and loved Golden Corral with 4 picky kids it was fantastic we also have a TH-cam channel so feel free to check,it out and subscribe if u like it we love florida and cannot wait to get back there , we are watching your videos to see if we spot ourselves in the background but we love your videos as they are very informative
Thanks for watching, I checked out your channel and I also started my channel during the 2020 pandemic as a way of dealing with being stuck at home ( I used to travel for business 60% of the time). As you know there is no formula to work out what will be interesting to viewers , just keep creating content you enjoy and other will hopefully enjoy it. Keep on creating !

Golden Corral is the best deal in Florida,I don;t know how they do it,always remember to tip your server well if they deserve it..
Worst norovirus ever at GC Orlando
@DisneyBrit some are a hit and miss depending on the location you go to. Some have gone Down hill with the quality of the food

Great vlog! Love the Golden Corral pot roast!
That was always my favorite but they are all gone now.
Hi guys. Thanks for the review, just arrived here on Sunday and we might give here a visit. Chicken looked great lol

It's now $9.95 for lunch March 2024
a big thank you for reviewing golden corral. As always thanks for taking time to vlog.
Loved ponderosa when I came over as a kid, really miss being able to go for breakfast there
So did we for breakfast
We always visit Golden Corral on our visits to orlando, it’s a great cheap dinner and our kids love it!
Thanks for doing that video I was one of the persons who asked for you to do it because when we go over in September we will be going we’ve been there every time we come over and it’s like what you said for what you pay it’s good value for money

We went to the Golden Corral many years ago, we had surf and turf. Sirloin steak and lobster on the same plate…. Delicious 😋

Good to know !
Thanks for the vlog bazza I was in that restaurant long time ago enjoyed it.
Was in Orlando in December and the cost is now $10 but still good food and all you can eat; we always eat here when we have visited

We used to love Sweet Tomatoes at the crossroads, shame all thats gone now, itsjust 15 minutes walk from the hotel we stay at, when over there
Crossroads has gone now, demolished for an I4 exit into Disney Springs
@@ThemeParkBazza Yup, We saw the start of the closure, last time we came

We loved Ponderosa
There is a Ponderosa in Orlando. Just thought I’d mention it since so many people are commenting on how they miss it.
Yes, I did a vlog
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
i lived in fl orlando area for 6 years, it was fun, and a lot to do, but never could make decent money, and in the summers where hot as hell.
Yeah, it's tough to make a living wage working in Orlando
Still some Golden Corral in California. Sadly Sweet Tomatoes/Soup Plantation (same parent company) went out of business the first year of Covid.
Love your blogs. !! Hi from Saskatchewan canada
Hi
Love your vlogs - thank you 😊 We are in Orlando on vacation so your videos are even more useful 💕 The Big Deal price of £8.99 is the Senior Special 🤣 Mon-Fri 11am-3pm (includes beverage) 😂😂🥰
I had a hard paper round as a kid
We managed to get 10% Senior discount today at Ross - 55 and over😲🥴😂
I am too young for that:-)
It is really a tremendous deal and the desserts are fabulous. Sadly I've watched so many people do not tip their servers.
We always tip our servers unless there is some serious problem
Nice video thanks
Most welcome Andy
Great place 👌🏻
was in the golden coral at celebration on 17th june was $8.99
As soon as we hear your theme tune it cheers us up no end 😁
Seeing you go into the park reminds me of an embarrassing newbie question... when do you register your fingerprint? (no-one seems to cover this in their vlogs)
First time you use your card / band at the park entrance

Across from margaritaville
@@ThemeParkBazza I can’t think just where, across from Margaritaville.
Old codgers rate 😆 🤣 😂 love GC ❤️
Hey great video, how much would you recommend tipping per person?
Typically 20% on food and $1 a drink at the bar
We have been before, the kids loved it but I'm not I would go back again. Problem is we all eat far to much and can't move for the rest of the day😂😂
The pain is real
Great vlog as usual guys. Which golden coral was it? We’ve had some good and not good over the years. Definitely willing to try again in September.
The one on the 192
That golden corral is on rt.535 i been there my sister lives in the arpts. by there
Yes
Great vlog bazzas , we went golden corral back in 2018 nothing wrong with the food great choice and great for a family on a budget , thanks guys x
During the pandemic GC stopped self serve I understand. Is this still the same because what put us off was kids helping themselves and not always in a hygenic way.
Nope everything back to pre pandemic rules
@@ThemeParkBazza Thank you.
Random question here but … is a pint 🍺 an average of $10 most places? Btw Thanks for the great content!
Yes that's about the average none Disney price. $12 in Disney
@@ThemeParkBazza best get a remortgage sorted before the interest rates get out of hand 😂🤣

Agreed!
I think I’d prefer the pineapple dole whip floats too

Hi guys I love your vlogs can you say hi to me in one of your vlogs pls I had cancer and I am clear 2 years now thanks love Steve xxxx
Sure will give you a shout out in a future vlog ( we film bout 3 weeks ahead so it will be a month or so before you see it )
We have never tried a GC before. The chicken did look good. Xx
I wouldn't tip 20% at a buffet, 10% is what I leave.
I love it that you think of me when you see a "coffin" that would make a posh one. Shame about the shrinking Dole Whip 😔
Coffins and Skeletons always do
