Wonderful! Max isn’t mentioned very often in comments, but he is so solid and versatile. I truly appreciate his steady support for the horns. I wish someone would buy him a chapeau. All the other men often wear a headpiece.
Some times I think Shaye's skills as a composer are over shadowed by her great cornet playing . This tune as well as all of her other compositions show that she is right up there with the best of them...................................

She’s every bit as talented as Bunny Berigan… and he was as good as a trumpet player could get in the 30s as long as he was drunk.
Shae is a great trumpet for early Jazz. BTW, I loved her current Rag. This is onet player to as anotuer.
