It's duck flighting over a pond at Audley End estate, with Geoff and Justin Garrod taking up arms and swapping their usual pigeons for something a little different. With an evening flight in the last few days of the season, the father-and-son team have just a couple of hours to swell the duck bag for the year. Let's see how they do...
geoff the duck you have isnt a gadwall a gadwall has black and white baring on the wings and if i remember correctly its the only uk duck to have just black and white baring on the wings, i commend you tho for admidting that you were not sure as to what it was ive yet to meet anyone who knows everything about anything and you could have quite happily not shown the duck at all but you chose not to and i think your honesty has spoken volumes, keep doing what you do geoff its a joy to watch
Looked like you shot a few pairs with only one cartridge or was that my eyes playing tricks on me? Cracking flight though.
It's a mallard just young though
its a young mallard
aint no gadwall that looks like a mallard cross a demestic duck or just a poorly bred mallard
I had a great end to the season for pheasants 28 shots fired 17 pheasants killed and a mallard, great beaters day
Great episode! 10/10 The camera work was awesome and I love how you didn't voice over more than you had too. I putting this epi on my "Watch Later" list. This will be my bad-day-at-work medicine for a couple weeks.
Wow, you guys shoot soon close to that road! IN Australia we have to be 3km and more from a road or buildings! Gun laws gone crazy we have! cheers
love your videos as a shooter myself i love duck flighting and have my own shoot i have leaned lots about how to lead a shoot from your videos i feel very greatful that i have the opotunity to work so close to wildlife because i am only 12!
Gadwall?!!! LOL
They all look like farm mallard to me, not many pure mallard in the bag.
Good video mat
You can either shoot duck like pigeons or do it the proper way: on a salt marsh.
Excellent little lake and shoot. Great way to end the day - wish the dusk went slower to keep at it I would have thought.
Wow those carts work nicely by the look of things👍🏻🇬🇧
definitely a drake mallard maybe breed with reared tame duck
really nice flight, specially for the end of the season
Mallard/domestic Hybrid

Great duck flight
these poor poor tame ducks that were bred for these idiots to shoot.... dont get me wrong, im a duck hunter myself, but you cant help but feel bad for these suckers, being inbred to make em fly slower....

need to go to spec savers
very well shot !
Not a gadwall
nice pond
Nice
I was looking at your newest video...but couldn't comment because it was disabled. ...(irish hunter gets his first muntjac) I used to watch this channel alot ....but now seems to be more and more about advertising of the sponsor's products. ...I understand this..... However it seems to have just got a bit out of hand. maybe its just enough to see the kit as we already know your sponsors from the start of every video. I hope this comment helps, as I feel their may be many people the feel the way I do
Murderers!
